Give me some writing prompts!

I sometimes find myself in a position where I have no ideas, so I turn to you, people of Wolvden!

Give me a generic writing prompt in the comments below (preferably a short story prompt) and if you want I can PM you the result! The generic prompts allow for me to pick the character(s) in said situation while still having some structure.

Rules for prompts:

1. No 18+ prompts or foul language
2. Keep prompts generic and don't use names. You may specify gender though if you want.
3. I will accept couples and singles prompts, or even ones that involve a whole group as the main focus!
4. (More might be added later as I think of things)

Thanks in advance for your ideas! Keep in mind I have a life and I often get writer's block so it might take me a little while to write out a prompt and the people who really want to see what I can come up with

3 years have passed since the last time I saw her. The memory was as clear as the glistening ocean under the bright sun, her screaming, her shouting, her eyes of horror as that...thing pulled her into the depths of the forest, knowing, she was no longer alive. So why, why is it that the person right in front of me is the same person whose screams had been haunting me since that very night, alive and well and standing right beside that thing that had supposedly killed her?

Genre: make it a romance in a third person view, as in, the main character isn't involved in this romance XD go wild!

The axe swung down at her like all of her corrupt deeds had suddenly turned on her and were pushing the blade towards her. My face was stony as I prepared to destroy her. I had always imagined this day so differently-- I would be smirking, eyes full of the thrill I would get from revenge. She would be cowering, preferably crying, unable to do anything. I would feel no remorse, just like how she felt no remorse whenever she hurt me.

That was not happening. In fact, she looked at me as if she couldn't see the axe or my hate. She made no effort to move out of the way, and I instinctively jerked the weapon back before it made contact with her. I expected to see a frightened relief wash over her, but all she did was close her eyes and sigh.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked, my voice shaky and filled with disgust.

She swallowed. "So many things. You couldn't possibly understand." Her eyes still devoid of any emotion I was expecting, she gazed up at me. She seemed... well, just tired. "I'm sorry, dad."

Well the axe instantly makes me want to use Krasny

lol yeah, and Krasny surely hates someone... (um just not her junkie parents...)

another option could be a grown-up Melody because her father was UM really mean to say the least '>_> *cough cough*
