Interest Check - custom wolf art

Interest Check - custom wolf art

I've been drawing quite a bit of wolves recently and I want to open an art shop but am unsure of what an appropriate price would be. I would love some feedback on this! Would you buy art from me and how much would you pay? I plan to offer USD as well as the standard SC and GC

i love your style! the way you color is super appealing, and i adore your linework. i'm not great with pricing but! 1gc = $0.25 hopefully you can use that to transfer your prices from anywhere else to here?

Oo these are lovely, the 2nd (couple) example almost reminds me of stained glass- Ah, I wish it was a YCH <3.  I'd love to know when you open! <3

I think the only possible answer would be working backwards from your normal USD pricing for similar works. These seem to be in a slightly different style from your YWH headshots, and that's done pretty well at your current pricing in this audience.

I personally find it difficult to answer both questions because what i'd be able to pay is not as much as I think you could easily price yourself. ^^' <3

Just so my post isn't completely useless, i'd hazard a guess at Starting/base prices for Custom works of similar quality, perhaps:  35GC for the solo, 40-60 GC plus for couple Headshot, 85-100 GC+ Fullbody. Trying to imagine a shop with these works; Please increase if you'd be making less than decent $/hr. Not taking into account possible shop traffic or how pricing might affect that.  Double pricing or maybe 5 GC less than double if you're feeling generous for any couple+ work? (Edit: To clarify, I personally feel like any couple or groupwork should charge full price per character, maybe INCREASE cost due to the added complexity of character interaction, but I have seen some artists charge less because half of a character's body might be covered up by the other in certain poses etc. ^^ )

The range there is because I can imagine other poses going either way.

I hope this was slightly helpful, and if anyone else feels like i've totally mispriced please feel free to roll right on over me! Thanks.

Thank you all for the feedback! My biggest issue is finding a price that doesn't undersell myself but doesn't cut out a large portion of interested people, but I think this helps find that good balance

I'll wait for a few more opinions but thank you again for the comments so far!
