What is your least favorite base/markings?

I can't stand cross markings unless they're faint, especially Black Cross.

Huh... I actually like Piasa and Mojave and have resigned myself to ending up with cheetos in order to set up for Mojave breeding. I didn't like Gold Darker at first but it's grown on me a little just because it's so absurd it's amusing. But I quite dislike Honey, Caramel, and Melchior.

I really don't like Honey and high opacity Red markings. I can't find a way to make Honey look good. Not a fan of any of the dog-like markings, but I ended up with a double Merle trying to get a cheap tier II base. Lol

I like Henna, Sulphur and Calcite the most. I hate light bases like Willow and Khaki seem like a weird shade too. 

I don’t like the stripy marks and masks. Masks can work under other marks but once that wolf has pups and they have only a full op mask without the marking on top that’s just chase material for me. I don’t like the stripes on the face or the side. I love dilution and shaded, butcher. I love putting two marking of different colour on the wolf then mix the opacity to creat a third colour. 

Despite my newfound love for Mojave’s bizarre bright colors, I really just don’t like Tombac. It think it’s because when Mojave has a weird color scheme, the colors are desaturated while still being bright and eye-catching. Tombac on the other hand is just too fucking saturated and it hurts my eyes.

Other then that though, I don’t really outright dislike any of the markings.

Merle.

I feel like it's sought after not because it's pretty, but because it's a status symbol for the rarity. To me, it's the most hideous marking and I keep trying to force myself to like it, but... it's just so ugly. I have never seen a wolf with merle that I like. I avoid studs that have it. And I skip sales that have it.
