★Den Terminology! ★
(Also, yes almost ALL of this is based off of Warrior Cats. I am kinda a nerd, haha.)
—————————
Name Terms!
———
★ All Wolves Will Be Given A Prefix And Suffix. For Example: Kestrel'Leaf. However,
Leaders (Alpha Female/Male) Will Be (Prefix From Birth)'Star. For Example: Kestrel'Star. Often, Pups Will Have "Nose" As Their Suffix Unless I Like Them/Are A Child Of A Leader/Deputy.★
—————————

★Actual Terms!
———
★ Exile = Chase. ★

★ Moon= 1 Month, Usually Used To Say Age, For Example: ★
"I am 24 moons." /Two Years

★ Moon-high: The Approximate Time Range Of 12:00 Am To 1:00 Am. ★

★ Sun-high: The Time Range Of However Long It Is For The Sun To Rise. (Usually 5:00 Am To 6:00 Am.) ★

★ Exhaustion/Exhaust = Death. ★

★ Warriors = Hunters/Scouts. Usually Of Higher Respect ★.

★ Apprentices = Adolescents, Usually Under The Mentorship Of A Warrior, If Not Given By A Medicine Specialist or A Leader. Respect Of This Role Is Earned Through Duties, And Are Often Stereotypically Said To Be "Non-Respectful", And "Annoying."★

★ Brood = Nursing/To Nurse A Pup Or Litter ★

★Mentors = Pup-Sitters Usually, But Basically All Wolves Teaching Pups/Apprentices

★ Brood-pups = Pups In Which Are Not Weaned, Usually In The Nursery. ★

★ Younglings = Older Pups Which Are Weaned That Are Being Exercised Into Becoming An Apprentice, Usually Still In The Nursery Depending On Skill Level. Usually Picked On By Apprentices. ★

★ Broodmothers=Usually Older/Expired Of The Role Queens Who Are Nursing Pups And Are In The Usual Care Of The Medicine Specialist. Usually Higher Respected Wolves, Depending On The Sire And Their Role. ★

★ Queens=Mothers/Dams Of Which Are Expecting Pups, And Are Pregnant. ★

★ Exhaustion Queens: Queens Who Have Recently And Sadly Lost One Or More Of Their Pups. They Are Usually Mourned For At A Special Ceremony Of Which Gives Support To The Exhaustion Victim. Respect Remains The Same As Before, However It Will Be Increased For The Time Of Grieving. If They Lose An Adopted Pup, They Will Also Mourn For The Original Mother Too, Taking Some Respect From The Actual Queen. ★

★ Sires=Fathers Of A Litter/Pup, And Or Mates Of A Queen Or Broodmother Who Has Had Pups Before. ★
|
★ Queens/Broodmothers Can Rightfully Refuse To Tell The Pack Who The Father Of The Litter/Pup Is, To Avoid Discrimination. However, Refusing To Tell The Pack The Father, Will Often Have A Bad Look Upon Them As It Is Overall Suspicious To Most. ★

★ Deputy=Beta. Usually The Mate Of The Leader/Alpha, And Is The Legacy Owner (Usually Mother/Father) For Future Deputy's To Come In. An Alphas Legacy Will Usually Continue Down The Path For Future Leaders. Once The Leader Exhausts/Retires, Their Deputy Will Become The New Leader, And Usually Grant One Of Their Children Deputy Depending On The Situation And Respect. Usually Leaders Will Have A Last Say During Their Exhaustion, Depending On How They Exhaust, Or They Will Speak Of It Beforehand To Choose The Deputy After They Exhaust/Die, Or Retire. ★

★ Medicine Specialist = Herbalist. They Usually Have No Mates, However Can If They Want To. This Must Be Approved By The Specialists Religion, Through Either Contact And Rituals, Or Through Dreams. The Lease (Who In Which Approves Of The Mate,) Must Observe And Meet The Supposed Mate For One Day, And Observe For One Moon. ★

★Elders = Elderly Wolves/Retired. Highest Respect Beyond Deputy And Medicine Specialist, As They Have More Then Likely Served In Potential War And Have Served From Birth To Retirement. Apprentices Will Often Be Directed To Help Clean Their Bedding And Or Den As A Punishment Or Lesson. Elders Tend To Make Friends With Pups And Apprentices, So The Friended Apprentices Usually Are Happy To Obtain The Punishment.★

★In-Mobility's = Disabled Wolves. (Such As Blindness Or Lethal Mutations, Or Any Mutation Which Cannot Perform Roles.) These Wolves Are Often Paired In The Same Den As The Elders, Getting Taken Care Of. A Medicine Apprentice Will Often Get Assigned An Elder And In-Mobility, Or One To Show Responsibility. If Exceeded, The Medicine Specialist Will Allow The Apprentice To Graduate. Only Two Medicine Specialists May Work At A Time, Alongside One Apprentice. ★
