Tawnystar's snowy fur didn't help her in the Deciduous Forest, it was more like a sign that she was the odd one out. Everything else was so... dark. She crouched down low, her eyes focused on a small rabbit sitting in the clearing. She paused as the rabbit looked up, not moving a single muscle. As soon as the rabbit went back to eating, she sprung up from her hiding place and sank her teeth into the rabbit's neck, snapping its spinal cord. She dropped it, blood matted all over her mouth. "Another day, another kill." she muttered.

She needed the alone time away from her pack. Sure, they were a tight-knit family, but the pups were truly getting on her nerves. She didn't mind her own pups too much, but Bluekit could talk her ears off forever. It seemed as if she did nothing but talk constantly, and barely even focused on training. It was no wonder that Duskyspirit didn't like her.

She laid down, guarding her kill, and began to clean herself. Her ears pricked up, having sensed some sort of movement. Her guard immediately raised, knowing that this was the land where many fierce wolves resided. She preferred the chill of the mountains, where she reigned supreme. When the movements kept going, she stood up, hackles raised. "Come out and face me like a real wolf." she snapped to seemingly nobody. She jumped to her feet, taking a defensive position.

Rogue took a step in the dark forest. She needed time alone, her pack was annoying her way too easily. Rogue was easily angered, and had quite a fiery temperament when she gets angry. But, alone in the forest is where she lives best.

She notices a strange wolf in the distance, not a lone wolf, but maybe a pack wolf. She crept closer, her black pelt camouflaging her in the shadows. She stepped lightly, not disturbing the wolf or the forest. When she accidentally stepped on a twig, the wolf jumped to her feet, snarling. Rogue stepped into the clearing, showing herself to the wolf.

"Who are you, and what are you doing in my pack's territory?" she ordered, digging her claws into the ground, getting ready for a fight.

Tawnystar snarled, pushing her kill underneath her. "Why should I tell you my name?" she asked, venom clear in her voice. "I'm just hunting. I need time away from my pack." Tawny's claws unsheathed with a shing, and her blue eyes pierced into the other wolf.

Tawny quickly evaluated the other wolf. She had the disadvantage, being in a defensive position. She needed to find a way to grab her kill and run. Her eyes darted towards an opening in a bush behind the wolf, and her brain had to work quickly if she wanted to get away.

Careful not to arouse suspicion, she laid down, but her hackles were still raised. "Tell me what you want out of me." she snapped.
