I mean... the wolf decors were never advertised as a 'free prize' or anything right? The jellyfish not being given out for free was very much well established from last year

Yep, that's the point β€” I don't see a problem with putting extra time and effort into getting gc when we already spent similar time and effort and resources into unlocking the decor. While it isn't the easiest to earn, I do think that with just a few minutes every day you were working towards the wolf decors you'd be able to afford 4gc for a jelly as well. I don't think they ever intended for all of the decors to be used at once, only a couple per pack.

Not trying to argue, just offering a different perspective

And i kinda get that perspective, I would be happy if they had given only one or two free jellyfish when we completed the story line. But i dont think most of us remembered the fact they said they wouldn't give out any more jellyfish

having this decor without the translucent jellyfish seems useless, that could be avoided entirely if the decor somehow hid the selected wolf.

also, as a newbie, i have no idea how to even get GC and the option of buying it is ridiculously more pricey for me because a dollar is roughly around 5 BRL, so paying 9,99 dollars would be around 49,62 BRL. 		achobonitoquembebeagua

Yeah, I don't know ━ I wouldn't have been so upset if the jellyfish just costed LB or something like that [they could still be 1-use!], or if they were account bound. I saw someone mention removing jellyfish from the problem entirely by making the decors themselves hide the wolf instead, which, if that's possible [I can't see why it wouldn't be?] I would even love that.

&& to jump on another argument that's been made ━ yes, while you already are giving the NPCs your items to win affection, THAT is the challenge. That should be it. The decor is your reward ━ there shouldn't be any extra steps or extra grinding just to be able to use your reward as it's fully intended to be used. That's the part that's ridiculous to me. Congrats, you won this! But now you need [x] in order to use it so get to work!

& tbfh if the devs didn't intend on people using the decors I actually, genuinely do not see the point in there being so many or having it be easy to get as many of them as you want. If they only intended for you to achieve 2–3 decors by the end of the month, then make it to where you can only date 2–3 wolves of your choice at a time.

Sure, they might have said they were removing the jellyfish thing last year - but I wasn't on last year, and a lot of other people weren't as well!
They should have at least mentioned it in the event news post before we spent stuff trying to impress the wolves

I'd like to note that people probably didn't talk much about this last year for two reasons. 1. Because it wasn't an immediate concern, and 2. Because everyone was too busy talking about how the decor covered the whole wolf. That overshadowed the '1-use jellyfish for 2023 only' footnote that was mentioned in a single community update, not any event posts.

I was there for the February event last year, and I'll admit, I was harsh in my messaging. Buuuuut even though I was there, I don't remember it a year later.

A lil heads up at the beginning of the event would've been nice because I feel like I've wasted amusement/food/and decors for nothing. I'll probably just give out the decors for free now since imo it isn't worth grinding for gc for them.
