I don’t know an exact brush, because I use many brushes to shade, but there are a lot of choices here

@Bad Wolfittude

Depends on what kind of shading you're trying to do. Is it it cell shading or?

@Asaelen ah sorry, I should have specified :') i believe its called cell-soft shading? sorta the idea of cell shading but a little less sharp. ive been looking for a brush that might do that without the need to smudge it to much, as i hate working with the smudge tool;;;

Hey, I have a question. I just recently got procreate and I’ve never been happier with a drawing app! I do have one issue though. I recently made a new picture that i want to make my New tag <—

however it says the picture needs to be in a PNG form and at max 150 X 150 pixels.

I use imgur to convert the saved files (through my iPad, which is what i draw on) into links for online use, but it doesn’t convert to PNG form. How do i do this?

And the current picture is at roughly 1500 by 1000 pixels (IDK if this is a lot, i jut got the app this month and this is my first time ever doing digital art so i know absolutely nothing ATM, bear with me XD) but when i convert it to just 150 by 150, its just an indecipherable blob of pixels, yet when i bought commissions a little while ago, the user was able to scale the picture to any size without loss in quality. Did they use separate programs for that, and is there any way for me to do that on an iPad Pro?

thanks a ton!!

@ShyTiger

I can help you with the png thing, but I’m not sure about the converting to a different size. I personally use Imgur for that as well, but I know you should be able to do so on procreate (I just don’t know how).

As for the png thing, when you go to export (share) your image, it should pull up with multiple options. One of those options should hopefully be png. I’ll see if I can get some screen shots to help you there. Just give me just a moment ^^

Thanks! That actually how I’ve been doing it but never was able to show it online, so used imgur for the link, but it doesn’t save through other files (jpng, png, pdf, etc) am I missing something? Do i even need imgur at all? I’m stupid when it comes to electronics haha Thanks! ^^

Edit: For example when I input a saved file into Imgur, the link given is like this.  https://imgur.com/x/xxxxxxx

but what I’m looking for is to get to this https://imgur.com/x/xxxxxxx.png

@ShyTiger

In order to use it on Wolvden, you have to use Imgur to get a link for it. If the file is already a png, it should stay a png when being uploaded to Imgur as far as I know.

you need to make sure you're copying the direct link! you can do that by either holding down on the image, and "copy image link" should appear. or, imgur's link options also have a "direct link" option. those will give you your link with .png
