Hunting Percentage Conundrum

Hypothesis:
Strength actually isn't the best stat for a finisher.

So here I was, hunting my wolves like normal but my main pack finisher was pregnant and safely nested. No big deal, I just fill her slot with one of the chasers and call it a day.

Here's where confusion struck. I hunt my high level pack in the desert mostly, because for me it's a good balance of XP vs success rates. Usually this pack gets between 50-80% on large hunts depending on the time of year and we're sitting at about 73% right now.

But when I replaced her with a chaser... it jumped up to 90%, the maximum amount I get right now even in the easy zones!

Ok... maybe it's because she's a friendly in a pack with aggressive personalities. So after she gave birth I changed her to romantic and... nope. Still at 73%.

Tested it just now and switching her out with a chaser bumps it up to 90% again!

I'm starting to wonder if strength really is the most important stat for a finisher, because she is sitting pretty at over 650 strength, and the chaser I replaced her(my breeder, Mahogany) with has only 130 strength, but has over 550 in speed and over 540 agility! The only other difference I can think of is he's level 20 and she's 'only' 18, so next hunt I'll try replacing her with another chaser in the same pack that's currently level 15, 96str, 350+ SPD/agi and see if that makes a difference.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Nope, not the level. Hunting the lvl 15 chaser still gave me 89% vs the previous 73% with the lvl 18 finisher.
