Roleplaying Ideas (That You Can Steal)

Roleplaying Ideas (That You Can Steal)

Hey writers and nerds, I haven't found much time to roleplay recently but I do enjoy thinking of concepts. If you've been bit by the writing bug but don't know where to begin, here are some resources. Feel free to take and make an official thread in the roleplaying board, and feel free to credit (but you don't have to- be free!! Write!!).

Sign-ups example if you are new to it. Take what you need, delete what you don't:

Name:
Age:
Pronouns:
Interested in Romantically:
Appearance:
Wolf Appearance, if werewolf: (if applicable to rp)
Mutant Ability / Super Power: (as needed)
Background:
Family:
Other:

Werewolf:
((And you could include pack rankings in the sign ups?? I don't really like them because they create power differences in characters and alphas don't actually exist. Regardless, I'm not going to make it, so go ham.))

•Back in the time of mammoths, dire wolves roamed over seas and cliffs of ice. A person who could turn into one of these pack hunters could remain king over the land- and create the first fears of seeing a creature not quite human.

Superpowers:
•A laboratory where mutants are regularly tested had a major failure: an explosion took out the electric locks and now every test subject is free. To survive, they must work together both to escape and to find ways to assimilate into the real world.

You could do this both with animals or humans, Maximum Ride style.
Powers to avoid in roleplay are controlling powers (like mind control) and powers that kill instantly. I had a blast running this once on a different forum with a dog that only glowed in the dark. She lit up the vents they crawled through.

Fairies:
You are a changeling- a fae switched at birth with a normal child. It is becoming Increasingly Obvious.

Will update as I think of things.

Demon:
At a sleepover, everything suddenly gets a little more real when something demonic is summoned through a ritual made with crochet yarn, birthday candles, and glitter.
•Silly goose read: The demon joins the sleepover party willingly. They are benevolent and join in on prank calls, gossip, and scary stories.
•Villain read: The sleepover kids must find a way to send the evil back to where it came from, with whatever they have around them!
•Open portal read: Until the ritual is undone, children can walk freely into shadowy realms and demons can enter a (cute suburban home or house in the middle of the woods). More opportunities for both OCs to be both demon and human.
