how many hunting parties?

Posted 2020-10-30 08:02:47

I have 2, both of which are all NBWs. One is my main pack and the second were all chosen based on personality to be a good pack. They're lower level than my main pack but generally more successful.

It's nice having both because as my females in my main pack go into heat and retire from hunting for a while, the second pack picks up the slack.

I have one decently well-established one made of early NBWs, and just today I started a second one made of newly grown up puppies and new purchases.  I'll keep both for a while as puppies grow up and join the second pack and it gets trained up decently, and after that we'll see if I like having two packs or if I'll sell off the old one.

I was getting frustrated with the 10 hunts/day limit earlier, so maybe having two packs will make me feel better, although who knows if in a week or two I'll still be playing enough to even do 10.

Honestly still trying to figure out how this game works - I have 2 technically but the second one just has one wolf that I'm not using since I'm still trying to figure out what works best. I do want to try to construct a second, better team later on since right now this one's just there with random NBWs I put together.

hm i’ve got three packs right now, two of which are moderately successful at 100% synergy & 60% synergy & the third i just started. i’m debating on wiping my packs & restarting based on their heat cycles so that way i constantly have wolves to hunt on rotation. although i’m not sure how necessary this is because they don’t even need to be nested until their last day of pregnancy

So far having a second pack is great!  I can switch between them all day instead of constantly waiting for energy regeneration and then hitting the hunt limit, so much less frustrating.  Of course the new pack is still bad at its job, but it helps some!  Especially with hunt quests.

Right now I've got 2 hunting parties with 5 wolves each. My 1st party has more experienced hunters and better synergy but I like having 2 because I can switch between them and pretty much always have a party out hunting.

Currently four! Two five-teams of friendly/romantic wolves, a romantic pair, and then my four aggressive/stoic hunters in a team toegether.

I have two packs! My main hunting team and a trainee team so I’ll have wolves ready to go once wolves in the main team die of old age.

I have one that is made up of whatever NBWs I could get my hands on at the start of the game, they're not pretty but they're high levels now with full training and work perfectly together. I'm working on my 'junior' hunting team now thats made up of better looking wolves. I think two parties is enough to handle, one advanced and one in the works. When my nicer looking team starts bringing back better game I'll probably start cutting out my ugly puppers. I get a decent amount of food between the two anyway. Usually get through all 10 hunts on my main team and maybe a few for my other, depending on what I'm doing that day and how often I can check.

I have one, like most its made up mostly of NBW's. I have plans for a 2nd party to work on before I have to retire my frist... And a third one for even newer children, and to switch out if one of the other two have nested wolves in them.
