Gender = non binary (he/they)
Personality = noir is arrogant but ruled by reason, good at keeping a cool head in tricky situations. he tends to retreat rather than lash out when his pride is injured. they are mocking and condescending at the best of times and have no patience for other wolves that can't keep up. he can be merciful at times and as an herbalist, he has rare moments of compassion.

Powers = life and death. the ground is covered in a thin layer of frost, slower to melt than normal ice, wherever noir goes. plants gently rot  and decay under their touch. in the Before, he used his powers to seal wounds, cure diseases, or even make plants grow. especially useful with how often underworld wolves tear each other apart for sport.
Appearance = noir is rather small and lithe. they're faster than they are strong and move with a lot of grace. he's a little intimidating to be around despite his size. he walks with a slight limp.

Lore = noir was an herbalist before they came to the underworld realm. they were incredibly talented and their abilities elevated them to an almost mythical status among their peers. many of their former pack looked up to them even though they were quite distant, his mind seeming to have always been somewhere far away since he was born. however, several wolves were secretly resentful and jealous towards him. under the premise of helping him forage for herbs, they accompanied noir to a secluded clearing where they ambushed him and left him for dead. the next day, when the pack sent out a search party, there was no sign of them anywhere. not even the torn ground or blood on the grass remained. to this day, no wolf of that pack knows his fate.
