While the whole of the Sanctuary collective are a welcoming and tolerant bunch, they make it a point to not speak of the western slopes around the mountainside. Upon any mention of the territory, they mention only one thing—should you encounter any-wolf within the western territories, you must run away. Further questions will be ignored.Fore deep within the western territories of the mountainside lie unusual slopes; gaps of open space between the trees, sharp and varying levels of terrain that seem unnatural, and various cold and alien objects that appear to be dismantled, just wasting away into the earth and lichen. To those who know the land well can find three peculiar disturbances within the mountainside—two holes sealed away in splintered debris and stone, and one partially collapsed entrance large enough to allow a wolf to crawl through. No one aside from the residents know what lies within, and any smaller prey or predators that wander inside are never seen again.
Whatever is going on, the residing pack doesn't seem to like others venturing into their abode unannounced. A great deal of care must be made if anyone dares to enter the westernmost territories, and perhaps a suspension of their disbelief.
