The soft crunch of snow beneath your feet is replaced with the feeling of firm, cool pebbles as you enter the cave:
Inside are numerous pups of various different ages and colors. They are all playing, chatting or in the middle of various lessons from tutors. All of them are happy and healthy, with shiny pelts and full bellies.
From the corner a small arctic fox trots up to you, confident and relaxed.
➺"Hi there, and welcome to our pack. My name is Mishka, I help with the care of these pups. I assume you're here to adopt one? Or maybe you'd like to leave someone in our care?"
➥ I need someone to help me raise some puppies.
➺"Oh dear." They give you a consoling look. "Of course, we usually have space to take in pups. We can either raise them for you until they are yearlings and old enough to go off on their own (Foster: Raise and Chase), or we can take care of them for a little while until you are ready to take them back in (Foster: Temporary). We should discuss in detail what sort of arrangement works best for you (Please DM me the details)
➥ I'd like to adopt a puppy.
➺ Their excitement is visibly sparkling in their eyes. "Wonderful! Many of our pups are looking to join a new pack."
➺ "But before you find someone you'd like to take home with you." Their voice turns serious. "There are a few rules we'll have to discuss."
All unsecured pups in this cave are looking for a new permanent home. Pups not residing in this cave are not looking for a new home. Secured pups are being fostered and are not looking for a new home.
Claim the giveaway for a random pup, DM me for a specific one.
Pups claimed from this den should not be starved, enclaved or sent away. ONLY claim if you intend to keep them, or R&C them. I mean it. If I find out you've starved one of my pups I will never offer you a giveaway again
Don't worry about giving them a home if you can't. All pups will be well taken care of, raised to adults and chased if they are not claimed.
➥ What do the different symbols mean?
Their personality is indicated by the symbol in the far left of their footnote.
Letters and roman numerals in their footnote indicate base type and tier. App means "Applicator". B means "Breed Only". SNBW means "Special New Befriended Wolf". C means "Custom. NBW means "New Befriended wolf. The roman numerals (I, II, III or X) indicate their base tier. I is 1, II is 2, III is 3 and X is Special.
✅ means that the pup is clear of inbreeding! This means they have 0% COI and no instances of inbreeding, as seen on the family page. This does not account for distant shared relatives as those are irrelevant genetically. If you want to have a puppy with no shared ancestors, please check the ancestry yourself before adopting.
❎ means the pup is inbred, with either a COI or Instances of Inbreeding number grater than zero. This should never happen with pups bred by me, since I always check my wolves first page and I never inbreed my wolves, but can still happen with pups I'm fostering.
