The Celestial
Beings of the strange and mysterious Dreamlands. They are known to take on many different forms, including wolf and human. Celestial beings are categorized into a few main clans: Reapers, Guides, and Caretakers. Reapers are the entities that collect souls of the departed from the Living Earth and guide them to the Dreamlands and beyond. Guides have several duties, including leadership roles among the Celestial beings. Additionally, Guides will oftentimes reveal themselves to the Living that are visiting the Dreamlands. Caretakers have little to do with the Living Earth, its souls, or its visitors. These beings focus on tending to the Dreamlands and its strange, beautiful inhabitants.Note: Celestial beings must have a Special base. They can breed with mortal wolves and produce offspring, but most of these children will not have any sort of special abilities. Breeding with a Celestial being does not guarantee a pup that can visit the Dreamlands. On rare occasions, a pup will be born with a Special base matching its celestial parent--if this is the case, the pup is a Celestial being, is immortal and can immediately visit the Dreamlands. Most of the time, the Living Earth parent isn't aware their partner was a Celestial being.
