Dusk Hunting Den

Soft beds of moss lay scattered beneath a protective cliff face, sand dunes having been pushed up around the threatening stalagmites and stalactites to hide their sharp points from clumsy bodies. Pups drag their toys and bones from bed to bed, showing off to their young packmates with glee. You would get closer--if only the lead wolf didn't bare her teeth at you every time.
