III. 🪝Hel's Gatekeepers🪝
One of my best hunting parties named Hel's Gatekeepers are housed here. Hel is the guardian of the underworld, Helheim and she is the daughter of Loki. All those who die of natural causes such as old age and sickness and not as a result of battle go here as their resting place. Hel has a giant long table her occupants sit at, similar to Odin's in Valhalla, except it's a bit more gloomy. Helheim is not a bad place contrary to popular belief. It is not the place of punishment for the dead, although it is very gloomy, dark, and cold.Hel has a large hound called Garmr who guards the gates of her realm, and my hunting party is based off of smaller hounds of Garmr who would assist him in gatekeeping this realm.
