Rainstar had always been a positive wolf, always concerned about others and usually forgetful of what to do when it came to another pack asking for a battle. She was chosen to be deputy quite young back when she used to be called Rainflower, Hawkstar had chosen her as the nextlead of Silverhawk when she later died from greencough that had killed her last life, she had watched the light die from her eyes and had never forgotten the horror of it. Rainstar became leader, letting in pups that were found my patrols and scouts, hoping she would be just as good as a lead as Hawkstar was before her. She knew she needed a deputy that was strong and could give a decision on what to do in battle quickly which is why she chose Nightripple.
