Stud Advice (personalized)
SpoilerHey, sure thing! This message honestly made my day to hear, I am so happy you like him! Let me preface that I am by no means an expert, but I can tell you about about my own stud journey. (Apologies in advance, this will be a little long)

First, to preface, when I first found Reaper, he looked like this: link He was just an ordinary NBW, but something about his spooky autumn design really made me fall in love.

After making him my stud, I honestly really regretted it at first. Because I soon realized he was not very "valuable" to breeders, and it was really discouraging. I was gonna pay 30 GC to retire him, but then I decided I really wanted to fight for him instead. Because I liked Reaper, and wanted to make him as valuable as I saw him to be. So instead, I decided to spend the 30 GC on a full customization from scratch. Where he spent most of his life looking like this: link

Where I slowly upgraded him over time, eventually adding an Annwn base and reorganizing a bunch of his marks to make room for new ones. I also somehow managed to get ahold of a Moonshine eye app for 9 GC. (I know, I don't know how) and I think I was also kind of lucky in the regard that when I made Reaper, afaik there weren't a whole lot of "Halloween"/spooky studs on the market, so I think that made him stand out a bit more.

For your stud, he has a lot of really nice things going for him! The triple merle and henna panda are all really nice and rare markings. He has very nice finisher stats for a young wolf, and some very cool lore and decor. He is a TII, which admittedly isn't quite so in-demand as a TIII or T*. But unfortunately, I think the biggest thing holding Ash back might be his gen.

A lot of people are unfortunately really picky about that sort of thing, since with high-gen wolves, it's a lot easier to accidentally inbreed, and a lot of people aren't comfortable with IB wolves. It really is a shame, because I think Ash is gorgeous! But a lot of people tend to not even look at studs anything past G5, sometimes even as low as G3

Personally, if I were you, I would try maybe advertising Ash as a "raise and chase" stud. If you are unfamiliar, Raise and Chase is when people take really high gen/inbred wolves, and try to raise them to adulthood, then chase them into the wild in the hopes of them getting found again as NBWs. I think your stud would be really nice for that, since he has a lot of nice marks and isn't too expensive, and with R&C breeding the gen doesn't matter at all.

What people are looking for does depend on the individual. But in general, here are some tips for what makes studs more desirable: (in my experience)
1. Low Gen/NIB
2. TIII/Breed-only bases or T*/Event Bases
3. Any mutation/carrier (piebalds are most popular but the market is admittedly a bit saturated right now)
4. A high number of markings (especially event markings)
5. Not sharing a lineage with a popular stud (such as Haides or Khalid)
6. A distinctive name, theme, lore, and decor (got that covered lol)
7. Good stats (you could advertise yours as a "finisher" stud, for example)
8. Some kind of signature emoji in ads/forum posts (Reaper's is 🌓, for example.) I know, it's weird, but I swear it helps lol. Maybe a 🐼 or a 🔥 for yours?
9. Also, this is a bit of a weird one, but I noticed after I put [Annwn NBW] in my stud's name, I have gotten a lot more requests.

Anyways, sorry for the huge text wall! I hope this wasn't too discouraging. Honestly the stud market on this game is really wack, and it can be hard to sell slots sometimes even if you have a really "desirable" stud. Honestly, I think the most important thing is to have a stud that you really like. Everything else comes later.
