Question: Using another art for reference?

And since I based his name on a character, I want people who join the contest to base their design on the character. My question is: Would it be okay to link a character's page/put the character's image in the contest post as a reference image? I've seen someone do this "Design a wolf based on..." thing too (sorry if the wording is confusing) |
