"Why would I ever want to leave?"
"Oh good!" Narny smiles. Let's go get a drink then! Narny seems to know her way to the lake well, you consider that maybe she can hear the water well enough to follow the sound. You reach the water and crouch down for a drink together. Narny talks through laps of water. "We lap honestly haven't lap had a guest in awhile. lap lap The last one we had was the lap small white puppy lap Strongs hunting party found lap abandoned in the woods. And she wasn't even on purpose! lap lap lap lap" She licks her lips clean and waits for you to finish. The water is cold and refreshing, but the water skimmers refuse to stop bumping into your nose. You decide to finish early out of irritation with them, and lead Narny back up the hill into the territory. She continues to talk your ear off as you walk.
"Dinner is the biggest meal we have here, for breakfast we just chew the bones, and everyone's usually working by lunch time. I myself don't get hungry for lunch anyway. Maybe that's a wolf thing. Have you noticed that prey animals are always eating? I'm surprised there's any grass left!" She sure has a lot to say. You reach the hunters pit and Narny sniffs around the pile. She chooses a small femur and hops out of the crater walls. You join her with a cracked hip bone and start to gnawing. Somehow, she manages to talk through THAT too. "Have you ever gnaw noticed that some bones are softer than others? gnaw gnaw I wonder what causes that."
You take a deep breath. You'd usually consider yourself more patient, but this wolf is something else. Relief floods your body as you catch a glimpse of the other two approaching. "OLLIE!" Narny squeals. "They said they'd stay a bit longer!"
Ollie smiles at her. "Well that's just PAW-fect!" He stared at her waiting for her to process the pun. When it finally clicked, she fell over and began laughing in a rolling sprawling mess.
"So how did you sleep?" Ollie asks you. "I heard you stayed with the omegas, I know they can be a crowd." You explain that it was quite cozy, and he seems happy to hear it. "So I had a question." He continued. "I couldn't tell when you described your pack if you liked it very much at all. We know all of the packs within a very large radius of our own." He paused for a moment. "So what were you doing so far away?"

Ollie nods. "Let's go meet with the scouts, they know the area better than anyone! I'm sure they can take you home." He smiled. "And be sure to let your pack know, you've got a new ally just at the mountains base if you ever need anything. We'll be sure to remember the pack name you gave us, and your name too of course." Your tail wags lightly, this pack is full of so many sweet wolves. They don't have the normal predator aggression that most packs do upon first meeting.
Ollie leads you to a very strange den at the edge of the cliff. The entrance to the den goes straight down into the dirt, and curves under a stone ledge. It flattens out into a cozy den, and had a window under the stone on the far side. You can understand why the scouts would live here. There's a great view of the territory's less used side, nobody could evade their detection. Ollie explains your situation to the elder scout, a beautiful white female with dark eyes. She agrees to help you find your home, and starts by asking you questions about the foliage of your territory. She decided a good general direction to start looking, and you set out to head home.
