Need Lore? [Closed]
Posted 2022-08-09 19:35:41 (edited)
Hello, my name is Karma~

I'm a bit new here and would like to offer my writing services to you guys! I am offering lore services, erm, writing services in general. I am capable of writing lore for any characters, explanations/descriptions of inanimate objects, descriptions of characters, poems, short stories, character sheets, etc. I don't want to limit myself, so if you're looking for a form of writing I didn't list there's a good chance I can do it! Just ask me. ^~^

I have been writing for around 12 years now, writing short stories and lore for about 6-8 years now. I am a literate writer and I excel in multiple forms of writing. I am the best at aggressive scenes/characters, but I can do all forms of scenes and I can work with all kinds of characters!

I am fine writing out gore to any level, I am not squeamish. I am fine writing some forms of romance, however I won't go into detail unless it is of Humanoid characters, the characters are 18+, and as long as you are 18+. My work is to be used for personal use only. You can apply it in stories, character sheets, roleplays, and forums. You aren't allowed to use my work to re-sell. I also would like to be credited via WD Tag [Karma#75898] or my Instagram @ax50s. You can take inspiration from my work and implement it onto another character of your own, as long as it isn't copied word for word. I require half of the payment upfront and the other half once I am finished. I will show you 1/3 of what I have finished, if you like it and want me to finish it, I will do so. I do not offer refunds after you approve the work I show you. Depending on what you order, it can take me 2 hours to 2 days to 2 weeks+ to finish your work. Please be patient with me as I have a job as well. I will keep communication with you and send you updates as I work. When filling out the form below, please include as much information about who or what I will be working on/with. It's better if I get to know the character/thing so I can deliver my best work. The more details the better! If you would like more than one character/thing, the second character/thing is 100% the cost of the original. I reserve the right to turn down any commissions, and all of WD TOS apply as well.

I'm not currently accepting Paypal, but I do accept Cashapp or Chime for USD payments. Otherwise I also accept:

~GC
~SC
~Most, if not all Grove Items + Sentinel Pose [Or Sentinel Pose Items]
~Badger Base Items [Mustelid Claws, Mustelid Fangs, etc.]

Karmic Undoing

The Karmic Pack didn't always exist. No, it was created by the large she-wolf, Rin. Rin hadn't always wanted to make a pack of her own. No. She was quite comfortable in her old pack with her siblings and parents. She knew everyone and she felt safe and at home. She never worried about where she belonged because to her knowledge, the Golden Crest Pack was where she was staying. However, that all changed on one gruesome day.

Rin had woken up on what she now calls the "Red Wedding". It was a normal day to her, nothing seemed out of character. It was actually her wedding day, she would be mated with the King of the Dagger's Edge Pack. The large, all black she-wolf huffed out. She wasn't entirely sure she was ready or prepared for what was about to happen, but she knew her duties as the eldest daughter, the heir. She was doing this for the safety of  her family, of her pack. Stretching, she lowered her belly to the ground and her butt to the air.

Walking outside, she sniffed the air and looked around. Everything was quiet, too quiet. She pinned her ear and walked down the side of the cliff where her cave was. She caught the scent of blood and her packmates and her heart dropped into her stomach. She whirled around to her right and began sprinting as fast as she could in the direction. Nothing was going to prepare her for what she saw. The Dagger's Edge Pack was in an all out brawl with Rin's Pack, and it wasn't looking good.

Before Rin could jump into the frey her mum had noticed her and growled out to her.

"Run Rin." Her mum's eyes basically pleaded and begged Rin to run, but Rin couldn't run. She couldn't leave her family behind. What kind of heir would that make her? But before Rin could make it to her mum, siblings, or father, her "soon to be" mate walked out into the clearing. He lowered his head and flattened his ears and raised his tail. His hackles were already raised and his gums drew back in a vicious snarl as his bloody saliva dripped to the ground.

"You thought I would actually go through with this peace treaty? You thought I would actually give my life away and be with you for the rest of my life? No. I'm taking over your lands and erasing the proof that you and your pack existed." Rin's heart dropped when she heard Kurai say this. In response however, Rin flattened her own ears, snarling viciously and snapping her jaws at him. She didn't have anything to say, shit, she didn't know what to say? There was nothing left to say in all reality.

Kurai laughed hollowly as his dark black eyes bore into Rin's dull olive green eyes. He slowly made his way over to Rin's mum who was gasping for air. It seemed as though her ribs were broken and had pierced a lung. Kurai quickly put his jaw around her throat and ripped it out, leaving Rin's mother a bloody mess. Rin's entire world just dropped, time slowed down to be non-existent. Her eyes followed as Kurai went around to each of her siblings and did the same thing. He then looked at Rin in the eyes before disappearing into the woods and reappearing not a moment later.

Kurai had dragged out Rin's beheaded father and dropped him at her paws, laughing maliciously afterwards. Rin's breathing became ragged and hollow as she could hear her heart beating in her ears. Her blood was rushing and her mind was going 100 miles a second. Shakily, Rin looked around at each of the dead wolves before her. The puppies and pupsitters were long slaughtered. If the hunters weren't dead, they either caught scent of what happened and disappeared, or they're just. Dead. The herbalist was dead next to her mother, they were best friends.

Everyone was dead. Rin noticed her position, she was surrounded. She let out a long sigh and met Kurai's eyes.

"I will be coming back for you." Rin then rushed Kurai, snapping at him. This only made him jump out of the way in shock. Rin ran past him and barreled through two smaller wolves trying to stop her. She wanted to fight, she wanted to make him bleed. But his entire pack against her? She could take a couple down but not all. She heard them chasing her, the two wolves she barreled through, right on her heels.

"Leave her. She won't make it on her own without a pack. A lone wolf is a dead wolf." The words burned into the back of her mind as she heard Kurai's voice rang out. Of course he didn't expect much from her, he never did. Rin raced and raced and raced, until she found a vast, large forest. This forest, which is known as the Deciduous Forest, unbeknownst to Rin, would become her new home. This would be the creation of the Karmic Undoing Pack. This is the beginning of Rin's revenge story.

Azrael, Archangel of Death

As the Shinigami appeared with the angel feathers falling through the sky, a small smile played on Azrael's lips. Just barely able to be seen from behind her hood. The grin was infuriating, as she continued to look into the camera. The humans around her held their breath as their action seemed to leave Azrael unfazed. "You see, this is further proof that Kira can't do anything on his own. This is more proof that Kira and the Shinigami don't possess the power to harm me, let alone kill me. Kira released his Shinigami to slaughter innocent Angelic lives. Just like Kira slaughtered the nuns and children in the orphanage. This is the "God" you wish to follow and choose to follow or are forced to follow through fear. You claim there's no other option, but I stand here untouched. I am the most powerful creature to walk this plane. I was able to calm the largest rage from ArchDemon Arioch. I can manipulate who lives and dies. I consume souls to grow in power. Very few things can harm me, and I possess four weapons that can harm me, and there aren't many more out there that can do such a thing. Most of them were lost or destroyed throughout time. The Death Note will never have an affect on me. I am the one creature who can stand toe to toe with Lucifer and hold their own. I am the one creature throughout history that has beaten Lucifer. I could have become the Mistress of Hell, however I chose to look over Earth instead. I cannot die, I am Death. You Humans are so quick to forget about the silent ones who have always been on your side. So I have reintroduced myself to give you another option."

Now this gave Azrael no reason to withhold any power. "Hounds, I release you." Within moments, her zombie-wolf-like creatures with wings seemed to appear all around her. "These are my pets. Loyal to me and only me. You see, the Shinigami are Kira's servants, slaves, peasants... his pets. He alone can't do anything. But with his… pets he can do almost anything. Almost. Unlike him I'm not powerless by myself. These creatures just allow things to go a lot smoother. And since the Shinigami reacted so rashly, I guess Kira will have to pay for it. If you're truly loyal to Kira, my creatures will cause your death without any hesitation or questions asked. However if you're loyal to me or even Lucifer. You'll be spared. Your own loyalty decides your fate."

With that last statement, a sharp whistle was released from Azrael's lips and her hounds were released. Screams were heard throughout the world. Kira's omnipotence was knocked down every time someone died, and Azrael's creatures moved quickly. The invisible suicide enducing skeleton wolves raced through towns, killing the Kira loyalists. Some were able to be killed, but most succeeded. Azrael looked around as many of the people around her died. "Zarra Reznov '' long left Kira. Or so it seemed like she did, she really just dissipated into smoke once out of eyesight.

Azrael unfurled her wings, and took to the sky. Within moments she was crashing into Kira's safehold. She landed on one knee with her wings curled around her body. Slowly standing up, her massive wings unfurled around her. She was able to sense Kira's omnipotence weakening. Slowly yes, but weakening nonetheless. Azrael, now fully straightened, had an infuriating smirk on her lips. Her eyes currently red gazed over at him. She paid no mind to the Shinigami around her as they looked at her with hate filled glares.

"Hello Kira, I believe it's time I finally meet you. You may call me Death." She hovered a few inches above the ground as she gazed at what she ruled out to be a male before her. She knew he knew nothing of her and how to end her. And the Shinigami don't posses the proper arsenal to kill or wound her either. So to say the least, she was relatively safe. Relatively. She approached him without faltering, the glares burning into her person. The same infuriating smirk played on her light pink lips.

"I noticed you saw my uh, appearance." With this, her grin only seemed to widen as a small chuckle came from her throat. Azrael spoke with a monotone voice, not releasing any emotion or accent. She distorted her voice so Kira wasn't able to link her to Zarra. Azrael spoke and acted with ease and "rationally" since to her, this was all a plan. But she was aware that Kira and clearly the Shinigami didn't notice or even think that her actions could all be a large plan that was folding out oh so well. "I'm sure you're already aware of my Hounds being released. Due to the reaction from the Shinigami you clearly control. I had to act accordingly. Yes, I did start the enragement. However I had to do something for you and the Shinigami to act against the Angelic race. I was sworn to withhold power unless needed to release everything and clearly-" she cut herself off to look directly at Ryuk, before her eyes swiftly moved over the other Shinigami.

"The slaughtering of multiple Angels gave me the allowance to act how I please." She stood tall and unflinching. She continued to feel his very "Godhood" slowly diminish. "As I stated, my Hounds are out. They're killing the Humans who still continue to follow you. As I can feel it, you and the Shinigami around you can feel your Godhood begin to fade as my pets do their work." She hovered in the air calmly. She figured Kira would wait for her to stop speaking before acting or saying anything. "They were told to only harm your followers. The way I look at it, you have limited options. Things were smooth sailing until I reappeared." She chuckled calmly, her eyes looking out a window behind him, before flickering back onto him. "Now, this is causing you to slowly lose power. If you decide to act upon rage, you'll wipe out humanity by killing the humans who don't follow you, thus losing your omnipotence. If you lose that, the Shinigami will leave you and go back to their realm because your relevance to them will cease to exist and you'll just be another irrelevant lowly Human, and I doubt you want that."

Walking around to each of the Shinigami slowly, she stopped looking at Kira, a sign of disrespect, as she walked and spoke. "Lucifer and I will raise in power and you'll be nothing." She stopped walking, pausing for a second; looking at the ground. She grinned devilishly before looking up and over at him. "However, I do have another option for you… That is if you wish to hear it." Without giving him a chance to speak she went on. "I'll call off my Hounds and send them after Lucifer's followers if you do the same. Stop going after the Angelic followers and focus on killing the Demons and allow me to handle Lucifer." She closed her mouth after speaking and hovered over to be in front of him once more. "If you don't accept this, I'll kill all your Shinigami, no matter how long it takes me, and my Hounds will continue after your followers. You've already seen I am capable of doing this."

Her eyes flickered dangerously as her smirk remained on her lips. "You can't kill me. Your Shinigami can't kill me. Demons and Fallen Angels can't kill me. Lucifer can't kill me either, not anymore. So I find this as your best option, Human. Though, I don't mind ending Shinigami lives. Yes, they might be Minor Gods of Death." She paused, her grin growing even further. "But I am Death." As her Hounds continued to slaughter the Humans who followed Kira, the souls could be seen entering her person. "I don't mean to sound rude, afterall. I have you and the Shinigami to thank for allowing me to not withhold anything anymore." Walking to be face to face with Kira, she stared into his golden eyes as he stared into her red ones, "You left your King exposed Kira, and for that, I also thank you." Her grin widened furthermore and her wings seemed to enlarge at the predicament Azrael had placed Kira in.

Character Name: Diona
Character Pronouns: She/Her
Visual Reference [Required]: Diona WD her CD clothing (applies to human form too except the tail pin is a hair pin) her katana
Type of Commission: Short Story/Lore
Form of Payment: in GC
Short Explanation about Character: Diona is a samurai lady. She is a type of deity that was born to serve and protect her lord's land and it's people. Her walking is pretty graceful, with her head held high. She would typically walk this way when approaching enemies with her katana in hand looking down onto her opponents. Standing at about 5'7", she is very feminine and confident, although still aware of her capabilities. She can kill thousands in close combat and generally enjoys fighting. She remains calm and monotone at all times, rarely interacting with others and expressing emotions. She doesn't have much purpose aside from killing and looking pretty, hence why I'm having a hard time thinking her story through.
Physical appearance wise, I always imagined Diona to have pretty long hair similar to this that would end a tad above her knees. Her hair pin would sit here. She would be wearing a kimono in which you can easily move around. It will be based on her half-kimono CD, except made for humans. I imagine it would be a long one ending at her ankles.
Short Idea/Explanation of what you're looking for:  I would generally like a little story idea as you have a lot of experience with battle oriented wahmen . You also know some of the ideas I had for her too, which is probably why I'm commissioning you. I want her to have a purpose aside from killing and being pretty. She is pretty distant from what she was like when she was born, since it gets tiring just serving the lord and the people, so she probably strayed from that purpose once the kingdom fell apart. I can imagine she's wandering with a purpose but I can't quite figure out which exactly.
TLDR just want a story idea and short lore written.
Extras before Extra: The vibe I get of Diona are represented in these pictures. there's not much to her aside from what I mentioned above about her personality. hopefully, still enough to trigger creative juices I suppose lol.
calm and collected
the most emotion you can get out of her- slightly annoyed and the look of "you wanna die?"
different angle of her looking down on her opponents with her clothes getting caressed by the wind
Anything else I may need to know/Extra/Other: I'm looking for something at maximum around 1000 words (30-ish GC) which I think should be enough for what I'm looking for. definitely nothing too long, since I'd like to stay in that frame (it can obviously be way under 1000 words, won't complain either way). I hope what I'm asking for isn't too hefty lol. generally, you can write her as you would your own character, I will definitely be sure to jump in if I get an idea from what you write up that can be implemented
I also would prefer if she was written into her human form (descriptive details arent necessary since I don't have her humanoid form yet; you can still implement her clothing and sword descriptions if you wish to!), but I don't mind universal so it can fit her wolf form too.

All right @eliotpawz here you are ^~^ [Turn around time, about an hour~][total words 1005]

Walking.

No.

Wandering.

Diona, the infamous Samurai Deity born to serve mankind and only mankind, found herself wandering for years upon years after the collapse of her kingdom. Rumours spread and Diona became a living legend. She was known far and wide, but with knowledge of her, came fear. Diona grew tired, weary of serving mankind. They were all so selfish and cruel, vile even! It drove Diona away and made her question her own existence… Her purpose.

My purpose?

What was my purpose again?

Do I have a reason to exist?

Diona stopped walking, staring ahead as the thoughts continued to ravage her mind. Her reason for existing was a constant thing on her mind. Did she truly exist only to kill? Was that all she was good at? A light breeze shifted her black hair past her face and she gripped the hilt of her katana at her side.

My purpose…

My purpose is to-

Diona got pulled from her thoughts as nearby shouting caught her attention. Her eyes narrowed as she looked in the direction. Soon she began to head towards the noise and after a few moments of walking, she made it to the source. Her eyes narrowed further than before and a look of anger flashed over her face.

Men, men were taking children from mothers, they were slaughtering men who didn't obey, and doing unspeakable things to the women. Diona had to blink a few times, to ensure that what she was seeing was true. She hasn't seen anything this atrocious since the collapse of her kingdom.

So many dead.

The Deity quickly raced towards the town, faster than the speed of sound. She was met with a group of sadistic men that were looking to make a profit and control.

"Look what we have here boys, she sure is pretty," one man said in a low, husky voice.

"Oooh, she has a sword! Whatever will we do," another one mocked.

Diona's eyes flashed dangerously as she stared down on the men before her. In an instant she unsheathed her sword and flicked her wrist. The sword elongated and spread apart to take on the appearance of a whip. The blades separated and each became their own bladed segment. The whip wrapped around the neck of the man who mocked her sword. Diona shifted her arm and the blades dug in deep, causing the man to choke on his own blood. Before much time, Diona pulled her arm down and the head of the man was severed from his body and dropped to the ground in front of the other men.

Within moments, the other men surrounded Diona but they weren't making any snide comments.

No, not anymore.

Now they were shaking, visibly pale. Some of the men even pissed themselves.

What an ungodly sight

Diona rushed forward, wasting no time. These men were imperfections, they were what was wrong with this world. She quickly made it to the man in front of her, her sword forming back to that of an actual sword. She moved her arms over her head, twirling the sword and severed the man's head clean off.

She moved to the next, looking as though she were performing a rhythmical dance. She made it to the next man and locked swords with him. She stared him in his eyes, before kicking him into the wall. She twirled her arm, her sword becoming a whip once again. It wrapped around the man's stomach and with one pull Diona was able to sever him in half.

Side stepping, she avoided a poorly executed attack. Pulling her whip back to her, it latched onto the man's neck and slit his throat before coming back to her and forming a sword once more. Turning around, she faced the remaining four men. They attempted to escape and Diona cocked her head ever so slightly.

Have they no honour?

She twirled her arm and her sword became a whip once again. She wrapped it around the first male's legs and then she pulled, cutting them off. She repeated this process with the three other men. She walked up to the dying men as they coughed up blood. She held her head high and pointed her swords down at them.

"What- what the hell are- are you?"

"When I raise thine sword, thou poor sinner shalt receive eternal life. I grace thee with thy divine blessing, now awaken!" Diona chanted this and then raised her sword. The dead lands around her and the dried up lakes rushed to life. The men at her feet bled out to their death. Where their dead bodies once were, flower beds began to bloom and flourish. On the other hand, the villagers became illness-free. Their livestock flourished as did their crops.

"It- It's Diona! She's- She's the Legendary Deity of the Spring and water," a small girl came up to her and spoke in awe. Her eyes were wide and a large toothy grin was plastered on her face.

"You- you saved us all," a woman spoke shakily, also in awe.

Before long, Diona was surrounded by the remaining villagers and they were all saying their thanks to her and bowing in respect. Diona looked around her, she was intrigued by their actions. Humans didn't usually give her respect, they usually just slandered her and sent hundreds upon thousands of men to try and kill her.

Diona eventually departed from the small village with a new purpose. She wasn't meant for killing or serving the people, no. Diona was meant to right the wrongdoings, no matter who the wrongdoer is. In this, it didn't mean she had to kill, but would if necessary. Diona began to see herself as a necessary neutral. She was no longer wandering nor walking, no.

Diona was thriving, Diona became a new Legend.

Diona, the Legendary Sacred Spring.

Deity who nourishes Humankind.

All right @eliotpawz here you are ^~^ [Turn around time, about four hours~][total words 3832][1/2]

A low, continuous yet jittery type laugh came from Shi's mouth as she walked down a beaten path that led to a nearby town. In her wake, the half Kami left a destroyed town with thousands slaughtered. The thirteen red rings in her eyes glowed a blood red and her black and white hair was pulled up in a messy ponytail. Her bangs fell past her face and her two upper fangs peeked out from behind her lips. Blood covered her pale skin, her body adorned by an all black cloak that included a hood which fell over her face. Additionally, a dark brown oak box was strapped to her back as she walked. Shi made it seem like the box was light when in reality it weighed about 150-200 lbs.

Shi was on an adrenaline high, which she obtained from being a battle junkie. Any strong opponent she came across, she would force them into a fight against her. It was the only way she could physically feel something. At the town behind her, she caught wind of a high ranking officer who also happened to be a descendant from Neto, the Iberian God of War, Death, and Weaponry. This officer was named Alucio, and he was able to manipulate undead armies along with altering the flow of someone's death. Meaning he was able to manipulate how and when someone was dying. Alucio was widely recognized and respected. He was a strong officer who was highly decorated. He wasn't a bad man, he hadn't done anything bad. Shi could just sense how strong he was and forced him into a fight.

Due to the officer being such a high rank and being so well protected, Shi ended up leveling out the whole town. She killed anyone and everyone who was in her way or nearby. This resulted in innocent men, women, and children dying. The town, in essence, no longer exists either. Shi completely ruined it, all the buildings were gone and the natural water systems were destroyed. The soil had not only been tore up, but Shi also poisoned it, preventing the growth of anything near the townsite.

As the Half-Kami, Half-Oni was reliving the event that occurred, her aura continued to pour out of her body. She usually controlled and maintained its presence, but due to her current mental state, the thought wasn't on her mind. Her eerie, maniacal laugh continued to rumble from her chest. She was relishing in these memories and just couldn't get enough. A cruel smile twisted on her lips, revealing her fangs even further. She could sense someone strong. She could feel them, her. Her eyes widened and their glow only grew. Her aura multiplied further and became even darker, ominous. Her fingers twitched as they rested at her side.

"Oh, how exciting. You smell so… Delicious," Shi hissed as her eyes locked onto the direction she sensed the strong entity. Her grin stretched even further across her face, pulling her pale skin tight. Her steps seemed to quicken as she moved with purpose. She stood tall, though her head was cocked and slightly bent forward. This caused the hood to hide her face, and her fingers twitched more rapidly, consistently. She could feel her growing closer, Shi knew that she could sense her too.

Danger.

Murder.

Killer.

Danger.

Hurry. Run.

Blood.

Bleeding.

So much blood.

Hurry.

Danger.

Run!

Diona's eyes widened as she gasped quietly, coming back to reality. She had been training with her sword in a dense forest, learning new techniques. That was, until she felt the presence of imminent danger coming her way. It was as though Diona had a sixth sense when it came to sensing danger. It was like she could sense the fear, death, and wrongdoing being done in the world. She could hear everyone's screams and cries. She could sense it all, this in turn, also includes the good in the world as well.

But right now, the bad was drowning out the good.

Diona sheathed her sword and picked up some other nearby belongings. She turned, and began to walk towards the nearby town. She could tell that this was the, or an, intended target in this entity's path. Stray fly-away hairs clung to her damp face as she held her head high, walking with pristine posture.

"There are hundreds, if not thousands of innocents here. Are they your target? Either way, you cannot pass me," Diona spoke quietly to herself. It was then that Diona froze in her tracks. The deity didn't often feel uncomfortable. But this… this thing before her. Its' aura was growing at a rapid pace and she could feel their power against her. It made her feel as though she couldn't breathe.

"What are you?" Diona's eyes widened once more. Though, it wasn't in fear. This entity took her by surprise. She hasn't seen anything this strong with the capability to get so much stronger so quickly… Ever. She shook her head slowly before continuing forward. She could sense the deaths within nature. The animals and plants that had been killed by this entity, Diona could feel it all.

After about an hour of walking, she made it through the town and about a mile outside of it. She stood in an open plains on the beaten up path that was the only entrance to the town. Diona kept her hand on her sword hilt and the other was relaxed at her side. Her head was held high and her hair pulled up in a partial ponytail. Her under layers were left out and flowed peacefully in the wind, often brushing past her knees. Her soft-red and silver hair pin that rested where her ponytail started, seemed to shine vibrantly under the harsh sunlight.

Within minutes, a nauseating wave hit her and made her step back a little bit. The pressure of the entity's power was immense, nothing like she's ever felt before. She regained her composure, and her eyes narrowed, the striking teal seemed to have a hidden fire mixed within it. She stood confident and poised, yet looked elegant. No. Ethereal.

There you are.

A woman, more so the entity taking on the appearance of a woman, slowly made her way out of the dense forest in front of her. The woman's aura was intense. It enveloped the being and exploded around her. The woman walked evenly, confidently. Her head was tilted, her face casted in shadows due to her hood. The rest of her body was adorned in a cape, but what really caught Diona's attention; was the blood splattered all over her face and body.

"Oh my, you're far stronger than I had ever imagined," the woman said. Her tone of voice was desperate, though she wasn't yelling. Her voice sounded like it had pain and relief both mixed in it. Like an addict who was finally able to get their release from their drug of choice.

Shit

Realization hit Diona. She's heard of people, or rather a "person" who was like this. A Battle Junkie who walked with a box adorned in a cape. This being specifically seeks out strong opponents and forces them into a fight. The loser never lives, and seeing as she's still alive…

But that would mean this being is thousands of years old.

"Who are you," Diona called out evenly. The being before her began to laugh sadistically. Her laugh was jagged and uneven, sporadic even.

"Me? Who am I?" The being looked up and Diona could see the cruel smile that was pulled so tightly, it seemed like her skin would rip.

"I take one glance at you and I know exactly who and what you are, deity." The being cackled even harder, almost doubling over. The box on her back shifted, and soon after the being stood back up.

"Diona, you're such a Legend, truly." The being suddenly turned serious, their voice hollow and short. Diona's eyes narrowed even further, she had so many questions she needed to ask, so many things she needed to find out.

"Diona, the Legendary Sacred Spring. The Deity who nourishes Humanity. Your name is such a nuisance you know. It's a mouthful. Though, not as big of a pain as trying to find you. I've been wanting to fight you for several millennia." Diona didn't know how to respond to this. She held no interest in fighting this individual, but they posed a large threat.

"I have no interest in fighting, let alone someone who's nameless and holds no significant importance to me," Diona called out levelly. Her eyes were locked on the woman who continued to approach her. Though, the woman suddenly stopped and looked Diona directly in her eyes. Her smile faded and she cocked her head slightly to the left.

"Huh. You don't want to play?" The tone of the woman's voice unnerved Diona. It was hollow, yet felt threatening.

"But you want to know my name?" The woman cocked her head to the right. She maintained the same tone.

"If I tell you my name, you'll fight me?" The woman took a step towards Diona.

"I already told you I hold no interest in fighting you. Regardless of what you name yourself." Diona maintained her composure, though she was starting to get worried. This woman, she just, her aura just kept growing. The anger that festered within it seemed to grow as well, the colour of her aura twisting dark red and black together.

"I see. I suppose I will go play with the townsfolk then yes?" The moment the woman finished her sentence, she moved faster than light and brushed past Diona. Once she was several hundred feet past Diona, she looked back at her, her fangs extending and her eyes flashed dangerously. She turned back around and walked towards the town.

Diona's eyes widened as she realized what this entity meant. She turned and moved at the speed of sound and placed herself between the deity and the town.

"Name yourself and I will fight you," Diona spoke with a snarl to her tone. Her eyes flashed dangerously and her breathing was heavy, slightly jagged, her heart rate steadily increased.

"What's wrong, Legendary Diona? Not used to looking up at your opponents," the woman questioned, her tone matching Diona's snarl. Diona's eyes widened. She didn't even process how she had been forced to look up at Shi. Diona stood at roughly 5'7" but Shi… She was on a whole different scale. Diona guessed she was 6'2" if not taller.

How do they know so much about me?

"My name is Shi, the Harbinger of Calamity." The woman began to laugh chillingly once more. Diona watched carefully as the woman pulled her hood off and shrugged off her box and began to wield it as though it were a sword.

Realization hit Diona and she suddenly understood how this entity knew so much about her. The entity is older than her, by several millennia. She has outlived Diona by a landslide and was living whilst she was.

Before Diona could continue thinking, Shi blurred towards her, swinging her box towards Diona's neck. Diona was barely able to react by unsheathing her sword and pulling it up to block. She truly was the being Diona had been hearing about. Fighting with that box was the signature part about the character in the stories.

So it wasn't just rumours afterall

Shi shifted and stepped back, swinging her box to the left. Diona stepped back and turned, blocking the swing. Within moments, the two deities were a blur of movements. Shi slowly began to get riddled with cuts. She began to realize that Diona is stronger than she had previously assumed.

Shi dashed back away from Diona and put her box onto the ground.

"Come to me, the 13 I control. Aid me in my world and allow me to access your strengths. I call upon you! Jizo, Raijin, Fujin, Agyo, Ungyo, Inari, Kannon, Benzaiten, Ebisu, Amaterasu, Izanami, Izanagi, and Taira!" Diona's eyes widened. She recognized those names, but why was Shi calling to them? As far as she was concerned, they didn't intervene in Earthly affairs. Especially not for specific individuals. Then again, Diona doesn't know much about her and how she came to be.

Suddenly, Shi's box opened. The sides folded out like a wingspan, six swords were on each side. The center board of the box opened and the thirteenth sword was there in the middle of the other twelve. Shi was grinning lethally, her eyes giving away her intentions.

"I'm impressed, She Who Nourishes Humans. Not many have forced me to use a sword from my arsenal." Her voice wavered and held desperation once again. She walked to the front of the box and pulled out a sword from the right side.

"I haven't used this one much, so this should be fun," Shi said with a wicked grin on her lips.

"Benzaiten; I call upon thy divine name! Answer thy prayers and give thy aid!" She chanted out and then raised her sword to the sky. Suddenly the sword went from a normal iron steel sword, to a dark blue ethereal sword with gold etches that wrapped and flowed around it. Shi lowered her sword and looked at Diona.

Diona shifted slightly, weighing what just happened. Did the Kami Benzaiten actually bless her sword? That's not likely, maybe the etchings on the sword is what activates it? That's a more plausible answer.

"Why are you thinking right now," Shi snarled and rushed Diona. She spartan kicked her only to dash behind her and swung at her, landing a hit to her back. The force behind Shi's hit sent Diona slamming into the ground beneath them. Diona was in awe. How was this entity able to move and react quicker than her?

Diona shook herself from her thoughts and quickly pulled herself out of the ground. Just as she removed herself, Shi collided with the ground, leaving a crater where Diona previously was. Diona did several backflips to move away from the aftermath from the collision. She regained her composure and erased all the racing thoughts from her mind. She needed to focus, this entity wasn't something she could take easy. No, this entity, even though she's unhinged, is insanely intelligent. On top of that, she is constantly growing stronger for reasons she doesn't know. Her reaction time is a landslide above her own and her skills rival Diona's as well.

Overall, this wasn't a foe to be taken lightly.

As the rubble and dust cleared, Shi was slowly walking through it. Strands of hair that had come loose from her attacks fell past her face, and her eyes maintained their deadly glow.

"I thought you said you would play with me," Shi called out again, her voice coated in desperation. Diona grit her teeth and rushed towards Shi. She swung her sword, only to have it elongate into a whip. Each jagged section seemed to whistle as it cut through the air. Shi managed to put her arm up in time and allowed the whip to wrap completely around her arm.

Before Diona could pull on her whip like sword, Shi grabbed one of the threads between the segments and yanked on it, pulling Diona towards her at a rapid pace.

What-

Just before Diona made contact with Shi, she released the whip and her weapon became sword-like once again. Within seconds, their swords were colliding. Diona made eye contact with Shi and for a split second, she was able to see within Shi. Due to Diona being a Deity, she can connect with and see other Deities.

However.

Even though Diona learned about Shi, she learned something else.

What the emotion of fear feels like.

When Diona seemingly transcended into Shi's soul, she was able to make contact with the beings that seem to reside within her. Now, they're not just any beings.

No.

Shi personally has 13 separate Kami's, Japanese God's, residing within her. She has contracts that cannot be broken with these 13 Kami's. Which means, Shi is able to control these Kami's at her will. To put it into perspective, Shi has 13 beings that essentially control 13 factions that allow Humanity to live.

Diona, is a branch within these factions.

And that thought alone was terrifying.

Diona's eyes were wide, her face was pale. She jumped back from Shi to regain her composure. Diona was only able to see within Shi for a moment before she was forced out by the very Kami's. The only reason she was truly able to see them was because they allowed her to. In showing who protects her, they also showed her that Shi has to be calmed down, not killed. She was shown the aftermath of Shi dying. In dying, she destroys the world, and Humanity along with it.

Shi would strip her of her purpose.

Diona's face dropped and her face grew whiter. The one thing she fought for and searched for, for years. Could be taken from her so easily. The one thing that allows her to feel, can be destroyed. Her heart sank, but only for a moment. Her eyes shone brightly, the fire coming back once more.

To Hell with that.

Diona closed her eyes for a second, inhaling a deep breath. Re-opening her eyes, determination was evident within them. She rushed towards Shi and the two became a blur of movements once again. Their fighting seemed to be a rhythmical dance.

"Stop moving," Shi yelled out. Suddenly Diona felt unable to move. She pulled and moved and shifted, and after several moments she was able to break free.

"Hm, I suppose you're stronger than I anticipated," Shi muttered.

"What did you do to me," Diona demanded. This was unsettling. Could Shi control her movements with mere words?

"Stop thinking," Shi snarled, her voice ruthless and vicious. Diona found her thoughts wiped. She couldn't remember what she was thinking about.

"Come play with me now," Shi screamed out angrily, hints of desperation still stained her tone. Diona found herself unable to resist. She rushed towards Shi and began to unleash an onslaught of vicious attacks. In doing so, Shi defended and unleashed her own onslaught as well. The two were a flurry of blood and attacks.

At one point Diona had her whip-like Sword wrap around Shi's sword and pulled it out of her hands. Shi glared at Diona and raised her hand into the air.

"Inari; I call upon thy divine name! Answer thy prayers and-" Though before Shi could finish calling out to Inari, Diona rushed forward and put the tip of her blade to Shi's throat. Shi began to laugh sadistically once again. She pressed her neck against the tip, her blood running down the blade.

"Do it Legend," Shi hissed with desperation once again. Diona's eyes narrowed, confusion twisting onto her features.

"Do you not value your life?" Diona couldn't understand why she would throw her life away so easily. Though, Diona could see that her question confused Shi as well.

"I'm indifferent." Diona seemed repulsed by this answer.

"So, since you're indifferent about your own life, you think you have the right to strip billions of people of theirs? You would strip your Kami's of their lives? Along with the innocents? I know you don't kill innocents unless they're collateral damage. I know you're not inherently bad, Shi." Diona didn't waver, she kept Shi at the end of her blade.

"I am predestined to bring the end of all Humanity you know. Additionally, I grow weary of Humanity being the only race to continuously hunt me down. They're the only beings who refuse to let me live in peace. Unlike you, I have to live life in hiding and on the run. I'm only able to feel anything truly, when I fight opponents like yourself. I guess you could say I'm bored and tired." Diona's eyes softened and she was able to see Shi's aura retreating. The woman was coming down from her high.

All right @eliotpawz here you are ^~^ [Turn around time, about four hours~][total words 3832][2/2]

"Those are all awful things that no being should be subjected to. I agree, Humans can be the cause of vile things, most vile things even. But they're also interesting and intriguing. They love and are compassionate. They're funny and curious beings as well. They fear what they don't know, so they choose to attack instead. It's their fight or flight reaction. I understand why they react so harshly to beings whose power is insurmountable. It doesn't make it right, but it's understandable. These Humans might not mean anything to you, but for me and other Deities alike, your Kami's included, the Humans mean everything. They give us our purpose and means to live. Without them, we would be nothing. It's often we forget that we were born because of Humanity and we live so they can survive. We're here because of them." Diona looked at Shi, who remained indifferent.

"I care not for your pity nor your sad words, beliefs, and desires. Whether what you say is the truth or not, it doesn't change my view on them. Humans have never given me the benefit of the doubt, and I refuse to give them one." Diona's eyes darkened and her face turned hard.

"However," Shi continued.

"I haven't seen the whole world yet and I would very much like to travel," Shi said, her eyes locked on Diona's. Diona breathed out a sigh of relief and lowered her sword. Shi brushed past Diona and picked up Benzaiten's sword. She put it back into its place in the box.

"Jizo, Raijin, Fujin, Agyo, Ungyo, Inari, Kannon, Benzaiten, Ebisu, Amaterasu, Izanami, Izanagi, and Taira! I thank you for your aid in my endeavors, I release you from your swords!" Upon chanting, Shi's box closed once again. Shi picked her box up and put the straps over her shoulders. Tugging her hood over her head, she looked over at Diona, her eyes holding a deadly glare.

"You may want to pray that you don't see me again. It won't end like this again," Shi hissed. She stared at Diona for a moment before turning and walking back into the forest she had originally come from. Diona exhaled heavily as she watched her retreat. She sheathed her sword and turned towards the town only once she was certain Shi wasn't coming back.

"Trust me, I know. I'm lucky you weren't taking me completely seriously," Diona whispered under her breath. Diona was also aware that Shi wasn't able to completely control Benzaiten and that she wasn't at her max potential. If Diona were to guess, Shi was at half her potential just now, if not lower.

"You're the only being I know that would be able to rival all creations."
