@Starlight -- This is what I've been doing for that, and I'm not sure if there's a better way: 

My wolf Nyxie's dad Leer is dead/chased, but I can still click his name in her lineage. That takes me to his lineage page, and even though I can't click through to view his profile because he's totally gone, his ID is still visible in the url of the page.

However, just an extra thing I noticed: it seems like dead wolves stored in a pack dynasty have a different 'dynasty' ID in death. Another of my wolves' fathers is Skoll, whose ID was 400 when he was alive. His lineage screen reflects his ID having been 400 in life, however since he's saved in the owner's dynasty, he now has the dynasty ID 8053. Since IDs don't seem to be reused as far as I'm aware, I still use 400 as his ID in my tracker. Just an interesting tidbit! :)

suggestion: would it be possible to add an "in allied pack" option to the in pack/out of pack/deceased drop down? me and my bf swap pups a lot so it'd be great to be able to differentiate between wolves in his pack and wolves in other, random packs!

@Coyote Teeth -- definitely, I can add something to that effect!! That's a great idea for an addition, as my bf and I do that as well! ^^

awesome, thank you! :D also, i just realized, will there be an easy way to update the versions of these without having to re-enter all of the data? i'm not seeing anything in how-to and troubles but maybe im just blind dkfjgnsdl

edit: noticed a couple of typos in the base listing! Doubloon is "Dubloon" and Oroide is "Oriode"
