Boosted Group Forum Functionality

Boosted Group Forum Functionality

Just. I'd love to participate in the group forums more, but it's hard to do anything because the forums there are really barebone compared to the regular forums. Games and group projects are impossible to run without notifications.

I know it was mentioned that this notifs may be added in the future but Forum Subscriptions weren't on the list.

While we are at it, those forum posts aren't able to be edited. Which makes group projects even more difficult if we can't keep the top few posts up to date with guides / current goings on / projects / etc.

These are the things I'm currently suggesting, but feel free to let me know if there's anything I'm missing and I can add it to the list!

  • Thread Notifications

  • Post Editing

I am getting pretty desperate for a delete option in the forums. (group mod/admin only feature?) I run an assistance group, so we get a lot of forum threads created for one off requests ( my official posts have been pretty overlooked, and they are so far down the page now...). To be able to clean out the clutter would be so helpful! Seeing so many completed (and therefore unused) threads bugs me, and I am worried someone's request might slip through the cracks.
The ability to edit my posts so I can rename my official request threads to actually have the word Official in the title would be great too. (and update lists, rules, and all that!)

A pin option too! That way the main request threads can always be at the top. (or anything else important to the group.)

Hello!

As group forum moderation tools and notifications were addressed via this development post, we will go ahead and lock this thread. If you have any suggestions concerning group tools or updates that are not addressed in that post, please feel free to make new suggestion threads for those ideas!
