@Comrade Vektor: Lioden Ltd is not creating a dinosaur game.  You're likely thinking of Evosaur, which shares some developers, but not all, and does not fall under the Lioden Ltd branch like Lioden and Wolvden do.

This development update has expanded certain crucial mechanics so amazingly that I'm unable to describe the expression of no cougar raffle stud but all I can say that this is good and keep going. After having preliminary information gathered and experienced the update for a few days, I can form plenty of opinions.

I like how inbreeding was defined into the game that it counts only on one page of the heritage tree, disrupting the most strict belief that inbred wolves would guarantee inbred offspring. It may change the meta of the game and I'm quite curious of the implications in the future. However, it also means the downfall of my project which I'm going to expound once certain terms are enforced.

Raising daily stat cap surely makes stat breeders happy including me, and these additional 300 potential stats resulting from this cap increment will keep us occupied for the next 2 or 3 full generations then we'll return here with further demands.

I'm glad that you implemented a confirmation prompt when retreating the battle or at least attempted to as it appears in the current state, hopefully there'll be a bit more stat boosts and trophy quests completed.

I noticed this 20% increased EXP yield from hunting, foraging, crafting medicine and diagnosing. I don't see any need in changing EXP yield for hunters as I can get them quickly maxed out in half their lifespan but this is just the point of view from an active player with skilled wolves. However, herbalist tasks still need better EXP yield as it's impossible to max out herbalists without going on Derpy mode by purchasing pups in massive amount, making them sick and extracting EXP from diagnosing. As seeing EXP yield increased for hunters and the herbalist with the same percentage, I'd advise not to compare them both to each other - hunters are much simpler to train.

And this is all about the update. About the pool though, seems like it's been a hard job to make HP satisfactory to the majority of the community. Healing salves have been through multiple buffs such as doubling effects, giving an additional use when crafted by a skilled herbalist. Even lunar encounters reward with healing more frequently than in the beginning to compensate battles against lunar enemies. Let alone this being one of the most common items in the game. Pack wolves never have any issues with HP unless they're on deep wound which can be healing with proper medicine. Healing salves are mostly usable to those who have some reason to battle enemies, which is not everywolf but those who're interested in improving their leads in level or stats. Even though I'm one of those players who urgently need healing on their leads after constant battles, I actually gain more healing salves than use them and haven't supported healing salves sellers for 10 months. Thus, it makes me difficult to understand how HP needs even more appeal, especially that it might affect detrimentally to those who rely on selling healing salves.

I'm liking these changes! Particularly being able to immortalize our leads, been a long time coming! :D Do feel bad for those who had their leads die before they could immortalize them, though.

I'm sure there will be plenty who disagree with me on this, but I don't mind at all that the inbreeding thing doesn't account for all generations, all the way back. The reasoning being that playing hardcore NIB is a challenge - a popular one, sure, but it's not an official part of the game. Adding something that does the NIB-checking for players would feed into the idea that keeping NIB wolves is the expected status quo, instead of an optional challenge. COI I feel is a good compromise and can probably help speed things up when checking if a wolf's NIB.

Would be good to have a clarification on the rules regarding inbreeding though. With the COI change, some might advertise their wolves as not inbred when they're actually inbred further down the line, solely because their COI is 0. It's a matter of time before it happens (if it hasn't already) and I wouldn't want anyone to be tricked by that, intentionally or otherwise.

Great update overall!

Will enclave pups have their family lines updated to show inbreeding too?

Could there be something released to be able to immortalize our past leads? It's really disappointing for those who desperately wanted to immortalize a lead who died before this update, like me.
