I've been playing daily since I joined so I have all the game mechanics down (I believe, could be wrong. currently moving my pack to the prairie since it's been too easy and I've been losing interest). I immediately focused on stats, and adopted quite a few high stat pups from the enclave over the weeks.

My issue is since I focused purely on getting high stat puppies I don't know how to effectively level them up, and I'm having an issue finding/breeding prettier wolves ): Would anyone be willing to help me understand how to do this and sort of mentor me in this area?

Heya, just saw this post and thought id try and help.

Good ways to level your wolves would be to have them either as scouts or hunters firstly, as all the other roles like herbalist and pupsitter give barely any exp in comparison.

For your scouts you will want to have them continuously re scout the hardest areas whenever they can, that being the rainforest and the glacier, although if you haven't unlocked those places yet then just keep scouting till you do, other from the large amounts of exp you gain from doing this you'll also gain lots of amusement items to use or sell.

For your hunters you will want to try and use up all of their hunts for the day every day, 10 hunts is the max for a team, also you'll want to try and go for the largest hunt you can every time, even if the percentage seems low, as you'll get more exp for trying a larger hunt than smaller ones and you may also get a smaller carcass even if you fail, and lastly the area you hunt in also matter as the more difficult an area the more exp you get for hunting, with the main downside being that the percentage rate of the hunts get very low as well as not being able even find larger hunts other from critter.

Overall after playing for almost a year and also going for high stat wolves i think that scouting is the fastest way to level individual wolves as well as good for people with not much time to continuously check in many times a day, whereas hunting would be better for levelling multiple wolves at a time.

As for the finding/breeding prettier wolves, its very hard to find a pretty wolf when exploring so its best to go on the trade centre to find one, although they are pretty expensive depending on what you find pretty, and for breeding pretty wolves you can try and breed with other peoples wolves via studs, where you can normally find in the sales chat or on the chatter tab under studs.

Hopefully some of this was able to help if any of it makes sense, if you want to know anything else or for me to specify on things then feel free to message me or respond here, either works. :)
