I've been around games like wolveden, these types of games always draw me in but what keeps me from sticking to them for long periods of time is the communities associated with them. I'm not saying they're bad, oh no haha! Infact it's sort of the opposite. Usually, the communities of these types of games are very welcoming the problem to me lays underneath it. For me I find it very difficult to weave my way into the community, I feel left out and often times really lonely even when max people are online. These communities end up being so tight nit that it's hard for a beginner to really feel like they actually belong or at least get noticed. I keep to myself a lot and I know that that's on me, I'm fully aware that my socially awkward self is usually the problem. But there is always that lurking pain in just feeling left behind in a game full of kind players and social butterflies. Goodness, I hope I didn't make this too long, but I just wanted to put my two cents in. I'm hoping I'm not the only one who feels that away, if it turns out I am..well I'd feel pretty awkward. |

As you said, Wolvden's community is really great and the short interactions with other players have always been rewarding. It's just a matter of getting involved and forcing yourself out there, (which you just did //your post definitely not too long btw) and talking to some people who have a weird obsession with wolves. I'm extremely anti-social irl, not so much online but either way my advice is probably bad. I'd just say don't be afraid to get involved, nothing bad can come of it c: |
