Is there a limit to how many wolves can share a role? I know about only 1 herbalist at a time, but I have a young wolf I want to have as a scout but that's greyed out and I can't select it. I already have two scouts. 		TheRandomHybrid

You can have 1 herbalist, 2 scouts and as many hunters and pupsitters as you want.
Same with Mentors. You can have as many as you want, as long as they are older than 5yo.
