Hello, I made an account a while ago but only just started playing. Are there any tips for keeping high health? I don't appear to have unlocked the herbalist yet and I keep running out of salves. I'm saving my last one to fully heal before roll-over as yesterday my pups lost survival %

The only place I can find salves is in exploring but that's also the place I lose the most health from fighting eep.

You will unlock the herbalist after four days, allowing you to make healing salves. Health doesn't effect your pups losing some survival chance - their mom needs to be fully fed at rollover to keep it from going down. If the mom isn't your lead wolf, she'll also need to be fully played with.

Other than buying salves off the trading center, you can find them in explore, and some explore encounters can also heal you. And don't worry about it too much - there are no negative effects from your hp dropping to zero! It will keep you from being able to breed, and their are some illnesses that can kill if the wolf gets to 0 health, but your lead cannot die from illness. You can still explore and everything with no health, you'll just get a warning on battle pages that you probably don't want to enter the fight because of how low your health is. And if it's completely at zero you'll immediately lose the fight or run away.
