To get 800 birth stats, you need 3800-ish combined parental stats (source: I did a breeding with 3758 parental stats and the largest pup was 799). You're probably not going to get that without it being an Elismir or Advesperascit pup.

Looking at the leaderboard, Zaylaz is nearly 2100 stats (does he count as "current studs"? I mean, he is a current stud, but he only has 19 pups so...) You'd need a 1700-stat leaderboard female to breed to him and sell you a pup. I guess that's pretty reasonable; after Eli dies, he's gonna be the big dog in town.

There's also Dreamwalker (1850 and rising quickly), although I'm guessing he'd be included in your definition of "current studs."

Let's see. If you have an NBW hunter that works hard their entire life, they'll probably come up to around 900 stats (see, e.g., Kestrel at 926, Lichen Howl at 931). A G2 pup from such a pairing will be roughly 490 stats at birth.

Of course, you can get much higher stats with a lead wolf NBW, but such wolves (if male) are often big-name studs.

Looking through your 800+ den, it doesn't look like you have anyone related to DreamWalker, so he's probably the play. You could look through his pups and see if any of them strike your fancy + are up for sale. Or you could buy a heat from a high-stat female, in which case you'd have to cover his stud cost (50) plus the heat fee (but I'm no help for that part, I don't really know what heats sell for). Dreamwalker & a 750-stat NBW female would get you in the 600-620 range.
