Should These Things About Lead Wolves Change or Happen

What is this about?

I started this topic to ask the Wolvden Community a question. Should Lead Wolves Die of a Sickness or Should a player be able to retire their lead wolf once for free? When you start Wolvden you go through a tutorial that shows you how to make a pack and everything like that. During this time you also make your own lead wolf. This is where the problem beings. Like most new players they make just a random wolf to be their lead wolf, well you don't know that you can't change your wolf or get a new one till you retire the wolf or the wolf dies of old age. This is where my idea came from.

Info About Lead Wolves and Some Problems

Your lead wolf is something you make at the very being of making your account. Your lead wolf is the head of your pack and if you wish they can be your breeding male ((if your wolf is a male)). What the game didn't tell you is that once your lead wolf is a breeding male you cannot get rid of the male without paying a fee. This fee is 25 GC. If you like me you don't have IRL money to pay to have GC so you don't have a lot or any GC. This can be a problem. For players who don't like their breeding male, they cannot get rid of the breeding male without paying that amount of GC. If you don't have enough GC then you are stuck with your current breeding male till you have enough. Lead Wolves also die around the ages of 7 and 8. There is no way for you to get a new lead wolf until you retire your wolf which is 20 GC. In my case and other players, if your Lead Wolf is also your breeding male, to retire them earlier you would have to pay a total of 45 GC.

Ideas for Lead Wolves

An Idea I have for the Lead Wolves is a simple idea. I feel as if players should get at least 1 time to retire their lead wolf. This is a one-shot deal, and it doesn't matter if you are on your 5th lead wolf. You only can retire one lead wolf in your time of playing. This gives brand new players the chance to retire their lead wolf and try and change the wolf to their liking. Most people don't like their first lead wolves and want a chance to be able to change them. If they get one free chance to change the lead wolf, I think it would be a good thing to have for wolvden. I also think that lead wolves should die of sickness. If their HP gets down low, so many times from a sickness or they are sick for a certain amount of rollovers, I feel the lead wolf should die. This would also make the game seem more realistic. People would be more eager to help their wolves get rid of their sickness and take better care of their wolves!

So let me know what you guys think of these ideas! :) Maybe the Wolvden Team will see it and take it into consideration. Who knows! Also let me know if you guys have any ideas about lead wolves as well. Thank you guys for your time and for reading this! -Wolf_Runner12

I think your right, making my lead wolf was fun, but now I realize he's kind of ugly. Being able to retire him would be cool, especially now that I have cooler wolves now. But if I could re-customize him, it would be even better. It also sucks there isn't an easier way to earn GC. I also agree that lead wolves should be able to die from sickness.

That's how it went for me lol. I just think the lead wolves dying from a sickness would be more realistic.
