Does the opacity of a wolf's marking impact the opacity the marking will have on their pups (if they pass it)?

Also, if you chase a mutie/carrier, will it still be a mutie/carrier when someone else befriends it as an NBW?

Not too sure about your first question, but I think it is random? Someone else will have to confirm!

About your second question, no, not likely. The mutation is wiped upon being chased, and the carrier slots are rerolled to decide whether it will be a carrier of anything or otherwise.

About the opacity, yes, opacity matters during breeding!
