im sort of a newbie? I've only been playing for about 20 roll overs, is that still considered new? im not sure-
hopefully I can get someone to adopt me :))

I still need some help around here. stuff like hunting, leader stuff and wolf rarity and worth still boggles my mind so if you have some experience in those regions, consider adopting me! (only if you want to ofc, don't wanna force it on you )

so with hunting, when can my hunting party bring back big prey? like elk or doe ect ect. do I have to have a full hunting party?

You don't need a full hunting party for that, although it is generally nice to have a full team. To keep it simple: stats are what matters for finding prey. Your stalker is the wolf that finds scent trails, so they should have good wisdom and smarts. Their other stats don't matter. The better their stats, the bigger scent trails they will find. How hard it is to find good trails depends on your biome. The three starting biomes are the easiest to hunt in (Deciduous Forest, Grasslands, Mountains.)
When it comes to actually catching prey, that depends on the speed and agility of your chasers, as well as the strength of your finisher.
Part of the benefit of having a full hunting team is that you can make a wolf do only one job, so they will get better and better at that job.
I'm going to link you to a good guide for hunting, but definitely feel free to keep asking questions!

omg tysm! this really helped a lot!

okay a coupe of questions surrounding the leaders death.
how do/would I pick a new heir? will tala come to me and help out? does the new heir have to be a child of the old leader or can it be any wolf?
can a leader die from getting fully drained hp in a battle?
how soon do I have to pick a new heir after the leaders death?

Leads can not die from anything except old age of 8 years- or being retired to the dynasty early by paying a gc fee!
You pick a new lead once your current one dies- or you retire them. The new lead can be any wolf, except immortal or lethal mutations, if it is a pup they will automatically be aged up to an adult.
You have to pick a new lead immediately after the old one leaves- so it's best to start planning a new lead ahead of time, usually around 5-6 yrs of your current leads age.

People will usually pick a heir ahead of time because it can be beneficial to train them as pups, and to even pre-level them to lvl 10 so that they are ready when they become lead. You don't want to pick a heir too early however- because the older they are when they take over the sooner you'll have to replace /them/

Also everytime you get a new lead, you have to rescout the map and will be stuck in the biome you are currently in during

On the rollover where your leader dies, the game will prompt you to pick a new leader. You must immediately do this, you can't wait. You can choose ANY wolf in your pack. Any age, even puppies. Puppies and adols will be automatically aged up to adulthood. They don't have to be related to your leader.
A leader CANNOT die by ANY means other than old age. A leader will only die at age 8, never younger. (As you may know, most wolves have the chance to die each rollover starting at age 7 years 6 months.)

ohhhh okay. it sucks that I have to rescue the map though. like I have to fully fully rescue everything?
when is it best (like what age of the leader) to start training someone for the leader role?

The 'when and how much' to train your heir thing is totally subjective, but I'll tell you how I do it.
Nothing. I do nothing lol. I breed a puppy that I want to be my heir and then it gets auto-aged when it's time. The thing is that the lead gains exp faster than any other wolf so I think my time is better spent just using my lead to fight and level itself than to try and get it some scouting levels.
However, I also have no problem burning through healing salves while my lead levels up, which definitely does happen lol.

okay! next question is about wolf rarity?
what determines a wolfs rarity? I know there's like t1 t2 t3 stuff but I keep forgetting what they mean. I also remember there being other factors that come into play with a wolfs rarity, what are they?
