Due to this, I'd like to spruce them up with a design to match one of my favorite original characters! I will also be commissioning a custom decor based on this stud design, so stay tuned! THE WOLF THE CHARACTER Other Toyhouse References RULES: - You can only use customizable marks or their existing markings. This includes selene/losna/etc. - You are welcome to submit as many designs as you'd like, but I suggest under 10 for convenience. Quality over quantity! - It is required to keep the losna points (unless absolutely necessary). - You can do separate or one post for your entries, whatever works! - Designs are subject to be changed if chosen. - This contest has no end date yet, but is expected to end within a week or so. It will be announced soon. PREFERENCES: - I'd like the design to be as close as possible to the reference, but straying is alright too! - I do enjoy the event applicators, but do not be excessive. They are highly encouraged though!. I will not be able to afford excessive applicators right away, but I do have one of each. Losna is my favorite though. ;) - Include a background and custom/regular decors! This will give you brownie points. Please include a link without any wardrobe items though for ease. - DM me on Wolvden or Discord at Star#0061 for more if you'd like! - Hint: This is the closest I've gotten. So...while black wings would be perfect on this guy (I noticed you used them in your example), I avoided using them in my design simply because there's no guarantee you'll get them from RMAs. The scars... eh, I did the best I could with the limited options available. XD

I also like it without the selene lupos, if a slightly darker vibe interests you. This would leave slot 3 open if you wanted to try your luck with RMAs for black wings.

here's an entry!! i'll make a version with some custom decors shortly. :3c i tried to get dark and light marks in the same approximate locations and also change slate to a colour closer to his design. c: the selene mark is what's making him look tealish, making it stronger is more teal but also ofc lighter

It's worth noting that with these decors, the design could probably be switched to pink skin to make the pawpads more accurate without making the face weird, bc the expression includes darkening around the eyes :V

The eyeshine decor is easy to trade out for whichever you prefer (hopeful eyes/striking eyeliner/etc.)

Also could have pepsi's headcrab but it maybe was too much with the fish as well so I left it out? Idk

Certainly an interesting challenge to try to fit a preexisting design! I had a lot of iterations, probably should've saved a few of those too but I think this is the best I managed :)
It includes one Luna marking (If you prefer Losna, swapping it out for the Losna Shepherd Heavy also works, but it makes the stripes look less defined and looks more black and blue rather than mostly blue), and the rest are all available via marking applicators.

I think a yellow background element suits, it plays off of the eyes and yellow and blue are complimentary :)

I'm loving all of these so far, thank you! Also you guys don't have to worry so much about the scars. It'll be handled with the custom decor, but I do appreciate the work.

I knoooow the black wings WOULD be perfect. My original plan was to get a denim with black wings, but that's taking a bit lol.

Great job with the decors! I love the attention to his pirate/sea based character. I might change the paw pads to pink, but I'm also a sucker for lusxnei too. We'll see!

I tried my best on this one... I tried really hard to get his coloring and markings close... he's just in an awkward middle ground where none of Wolvden's markings can make his coloring rn xD

But this was my attempt!

I added some mossy green to him because I couldn't help but notice he was nautical xD Maybe some algae as a nod to his fins? :>

entry 1! - i tried my best so i hope you'll like it! he looks good in sentinel too! he has 3 event markings, added some scars. actually it was hard for me to find a perfect background so my best shots are: Yukon - Icy Shores, Moonlit Beach and Oregon Coast ^^

entry 2! - added more bluish markings this time. pretty satisfied how it turned out!

unfortunately, i can't add custom decor but here's links that would suit both designs: lightning, fish, blep!, mist

also you should really consider commisioning an artist to make a custom decor that would show his original ears and tail!!
