Hello, I'm new but I used to play the sister game. I'm not sure how this works but I would love for someone to show me the ropes around here.

Is there a faster way to make SC other then the questing snake?

The easiest way to get SC is probably the questing snake. If you complete all the quests each day you can get around 300 SC. Games can also give fairly good SC, fishing can give up to 100 SC a day along with some delicate meat which can be sold to the raccoon for more SC. Slots can give good SC rewards along with items that can be sold in the Trading Center for a profit, but it does require that you risk 10 SC each time and there is no guarantee that you will get anything out of it. If you have a good hunting team and small pack, selling food in the trading center is usually an easy way to gain SC. You can also do this with amusement items like feathers because there are always people with big packs looking to buy that stuff. If you do decide to sell items, make sure you keep enough for your pack to live on. Selling wolves in the TC doesn't usually get you much SC, especially as a beginner because the wolves you have tend to have more common markings and bases. A couple other ways to get SC involves selling your 1-use food items to the raccoon (he offers terrible prices beyond that) and giving pups to the enclave bear.

Thank you!

I have another question if you don't mind.
Can adolescents have proficiency points for pack roles? One of my girls has Pupsitting proficiency points and she loses 1 every rollover?
How do they get them and how do I stop her from losing more?

Yes they can! If you go to an adolescent's pack role tab, you can see that they are set to the role of "Apprentice". This is an automatic role that they are set to from the time they turn to 6 months old to adulthood. Each adolescent can be trained once a day and can have up to 20 proficiency points in a role. Just like adults, they will lose one point per day, but as long as you train them each day, it's easy to keep the proficiency at 20 points. Training for the role happens on the respective pages for that role. For the hunting role, when you go to send your hunters out, you will see a blue button at the bottom of the selection page that lets you add apprentices. You can then add up to three adolescents (1 stalker, 1 chaser, and 1 finisher) to the hunt. For herbalists there will be a blue button next to the gather herbs button or slightly lower on the medicine creation section. You can train scouts by adding them to a scouting mission in explore and pupsitters can be trained by navigating to the pupsitting tab in your den, selecting a pup sitter, and then scrolling down past the "Unprotected puppies" section. At the bottom you'll see a button that says "+Train Apprentice?" If you expand it, you can select a adolescent to train in pupsitting. In order to train an adolescent, it cannot be in a trade or sick. The adult doing the training needs to have at least 20 proficiency points and typically needs at least 20% energy. There is also pup training which is slightly different from adolescents training so if you've got any questions about that, feel free to ask them!

Important note: In order to train adolescents, you must have completed most of the starting unique quests and have at least 12 roll-overs on your account. So if you don't see the buttons I'm talking about, keep signing on and rolling over daily and they should be there soon!

I'm back with another question.
Is the day and night system on a set schedule? If so do you happen to know it?

Day/night is on a schedule. If you look at the top of your screen you will see "Welcome back, Madcat" If you click on your username in that phrase it will open a drop-down menu. Click on "Cooldowns" and it will take you to a page that tracks all of your account cooldowns, including the time until the next time change.
