A friend of mine had this really pretty wolf, and we all were curious what the puppies would be like. After a while, we all voted for an IBF to be used. After usage, the puppies were born… but there were only two potato-looking puppies. Often, as I've collected in chat, there were disappointments from the IBF. A couple of players stopped using it at all. I think that the IBF may cause effects on puppies, "Beauty the cost of instant birth." What's an IBF? An IBF is short for Instant Birth Feather. The Instant Birch Feather is a Grove Item that is used to make pregnant females instantly have their puppies when they play with the feather. It can be found in the Breeding section of the Hoard and bought easily from the Grove along with other Grove Items. Proof So far I've not collected true evidence to see what the effects would be. Some possible tests could be choosing a female and male and getting a IBF for one breeding, and then do another without the Feather. I would do these tests, but unfortunately I don't have any GC to do so. That's why when a new mutation is introduced already pregnant wolves can never give birth to that new mutation only wolves who are impregnated after it is introduced Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe this is how it works |
