i. introduction hello! i'm porkchum/porkee! i use they/them pronouns. i've been an active roleplayer for roughly ~5 years and have been writing on and off for most of my life, meaning that i've got a pretty hefty arsenal of experience under my belt. lately i've been in a bit of a rut and writing on my own hasn't been cutting it so i figured hey, why not put myself out there again for the 100th time? i.ii activity/mediums busy 7:00AM-8:00PM EDT i'm a full-time student that has a part-time job among other responsibilities. while i wish i could have all the time in the world to just sit and write, capitalism says no. depending on the post length, i can either pop out a couple of responses per day if we're using three sentences to a paragraph, or one post every couple of days if it's a multi-paragraph type of deal. please don't hound me on responses- the more you bother me on it, the less inclined i'll be to respond. it makes me anxious and ruins my motivation. as a roleplaying medium, i prefer discord to anything else. i could roleplay in forums here, but i'd really rather not. i.iii rules i. grammar/post length i write (and would prefer you to write in) third-person sentence-paragraph style. script type roleplays are all fun and good, but aren't want i'm looking for. as for post length, i really don't care. be it two sentences to five paragraphs, as long as you give me enough content to use for my post. PLEASE don't fall into the trap of being passive and giving me nothing to respond to. if you post something along the lines of "she blinked" and nothing else i will cry. ii. contribution please don't make me carry the whole plot on my back. this is a two-person thing, it's no fun if it's only one person doing all the work! i want your ideas, your headcanons, everything! iii. quantity of characters there's a lot of people that will starkly refuse to write as more than one character. while i respect that, i have run into a lot of problems that impacted the roleplay because of this. in a lot of my rps, the responsibility of writing every other side character has always fallen onto me. for the most part i'm okay with it, but it gets exhausting. please be willing to write as side characters to move along the plot. bonus points if you have more than one main character :] i.iv preferences can-do buckaroo ✔ [spoiler]i. tropes/themes i'm an absolute sucker for a good mix of fluff and absolute heart-wrenching angst as well as enemies to lovers/slow burn romance. also found family? love it. ii. settings not toooo picky on this, but i prefer fantasy-type realms. magic go brr iii. characters literally none of my characters are cishet. none. zilch. i prefer to write trans/nonbinary characters as i'm agender myself and find comfort in that. in terms of romance, i will only do fxf/nbxf or mxm/nbxm. no mxf here (unless they're t4t!) i also roleplay only human characters (or semi anthro). i have some feral characters laying around, but it's not really an area of interest at the moment, sorry! iv. plots i love time-travelling/dimension hopper plots or anything to do with magic, really. supernatural characters are iffy, but if you've got a good enough hook i might just dig in. like i mentioned, enemies to lovers is a surefire way to get me interested. i also heavily prefer roleplays to be set in an already established universe (aka fandom roleplays), but i won't say no to a completely original plot! [/spoiler] no thanks x [spoiler]i. tropes/themes anything that you would see in a wattpad fanfic. "this isn't you look into my eyes", mary sues, "can't choose between the hot mafia man or good guy scholar". no hate to anyone who likes those tropes, but i've been in the roleplaying sphere too dang long to deal with any of that again. it's just not at all my cup of tea. ii. settings i'm not really fond of modern settings/stagnant settings. i find that a lot of roleplays that become mundane quickly are set in a single location such as a school/college. mix it up! throw them into a portal! a hospital! i need variation otherwise i will go nuts man iii. characters like mentioned, i don't use cishet/feral characters. you're free to use a cishet character if you aren't looking for romance- that's fine by me. you are also free to use an anthro character provided the universe allows for it. i also ask that you don't infantilize my characters, thank you :] iv. plots slice. of. life. i personally can't understand the hype behind the genre and i absolutely despise it. school/college au's go hand in hand with this.[/spoiler] ii. plots ii.i fandoms i. the arcana ↳ PLEASE I KNOW THIS FANDOM IS DEAD BUT ONE OF Y'ALL GOTTA BE INTERESTED RIGHT? stupid lil asra's got my heart tied up in a knot. i'm more than willing to double up with a character of your choice if needed! we can start from the beginning, or we can make up a whole new plot (perhaps a new major arcana emerges, or the devil comes back, etc) ii. last legacy ↳ no thoughts. only rime. i'd prefer to focus more on the story around felix's route/the trio in general. ocs welcomed :) vi. genshin impact ↳ i haven't fully finished the main storyline (i only just passed ar28, so both mondstatd and liyue are out of the way), so no spoilers please! if you're willing to do a roleplay focusing on those two nations (we can expand later on if inclined) and are okay with playing canon characters + venti (ocs welcomed as well!) hmu <3 ii.ii original nothing here.. for now ;) if you've read to the end and are still interested, please fill out this form and make sure you elaborate on what exactly you want to do/what direction you'd like to take the plot. be sure to message this to my side account porkee#32487 on lioden (preferably) or on here to make sure that i see it! have a good day :] preferred name/nickname: time-zone: medium (ie. discord, lioden, etc): plot you'd like to try out: rp sample: |
