Newbie to the game! Would love some tips!

Hello everyone! I just started the game like yesterday so would be amazing to get some tips or pointers in the right direction!
I don't know much of what you can do on here so would love to know some stuff related to how you get sc and what items are good to have!

Hey, hey, welcome to the game and to the community! :D

Here's some handy tips, feel free to ask questions!
I did this pretty late amd I'm tired, so if anything is confusing, my bad! Don't want to read all this? No problems at all, I don't blame yah one bit so just go ahead and demand a TL;DR - I'll write it first thing I have the time to do so tomorrow!

~ Best Ways of Getting the Silvery (and later golden!) goods

Your first best method of getting the silvers is to most certainly visit the snake quest everyday, and do what quest you can. Not only can you earn over 200 SC every day if you complete all your quest, but your lead wolf gains a pretty decent amount of experience! Very good to get your leader on their way to the higher levels.

* Next, how about the wares?

I'm sure you have, or will have, a surplus of food as you explore and hunt out your wolves throughout your day, most of which is going to be coming from explore at the early stage of your gameplay. The explore sure is a butt saver if your hunters are getting a whole load of nothing all day! ;) we'll talk about those stick munchers later in the list

Now onto that pesky raccoon. The only things you should evverrrrr sell here is your smaller food! 4 uses or lower only, otherwise you are, I say with full confidence and with a smirk on my face, going to get scammed out of like no tommorow. so be wise! Sell those bigger foods and other in the Trading Center! Food, 3-5 SC per use is pretty normal, and for your toys, 5-7 SC per use. For every 150-180 SC (you might want to fact check this in the TC, as the price changes pretty often!), you can add a sneaky gold alongside the silver as a alternative buy-out. 100 use bundles sell pretty well! Trust me, I'd know, as I buy them big ol bundles nearly everyday for my money-eating droolers.
You can pretty darn easily get 200 SC from my mans as well! Remember, small food only, or the raccoon is doing what he does best

*Fishing game, fishing game, fishing game.

Go play in the games area! Every ten mins, turn in a bad boy and get some pocket change! I personally ignore this method, but whatever floats your boat, my friend.
The better the rarity, the higher the reward. Legendary? Congratulations! Some pocket change and a 18 use food or toy. Score!
Bigger the fish, ahh I forgot what the minimum it was to get the one use delicate meat, but at this point that is just extra money you can earn from the raccoon. Unless you decided to go the terrible route of having about a hundred wolves (:

*The Trading Center

Now it gets a bit trickier. Want to profit off wolves? Throw that out the window if that's your main goal! Trust me, there will be disappointment :wink.
Have a pup? 15 SC a pup as a base price, watch them get deleted from the game. I'll mention foddering later in the list! Not all pups have this fate, but do expect it more often to happen than not. Keep your pups off low as dung prices if you them to have a better chance! Do not expect buyers, as the market is a mess and relies on the new things to survive
In-heat? 100 SC or 1 GC is a good starting point
As for how the pup is valued, and you don't want them to be foddered? I have no idea how to suggest unless I see the pup, as prices are quite all over... But try around 50 SC :D same with adols and adults

Food and toys are likely going to be your big source of income! I suggest using 3 SC per use for food in Spring, 4 in other seasons, and 5 in winter! Toys, 7 SC per use all season 'round

Healing salves! Sells well, especially when the Lunar Event (ask for more info!) comes around. 25 SC per salve on normal days, 60 during the event! As a tip, it is very good to collect these, as you will certainly need them if you choose to participate in the Lunar event next month, and are just in general good to have.

Lucky feet, 25 SC per use as well! I'm not sure whether or not they are in more demand by the time the event comes around, but sells decent. Make sure you price check! Not sure how? Just ask!

For the sake of not typing TOO much... Feel welcome to ask about other items! Just listed what sells pretty reliably

~ Let's talk about your pack! For the love of your sanity keep it small for awhile

Stats, my friend, stats is what you are going to want to focus on, as it dictates how well your wolf would do in most task. And not the total stats... Focus on those individual stats! At least focus on them enough that your wolves bring in the food so you can take care of your pack, or just to have a reliable way to make SC! Stats are verrryyy important fir most parts of the game

So hunters, let's talk about your hunters in relations to stats and relationships.

What to know!

Finisher -> strength
Chasers -> agility/speed
Stalker -> wisdom/smarts

Focus on building up those individual stats, as only those stats matter for the job that wolf will be performing ¬a¬ the higher the stats, the better your probablity at success!

Parties are all fun and exciting until somewolf tries to snap another's head off! Don't want that to happen? Follow this easy guide when assigning teams:

Herbalist? Fourth RO buisness, but your herby would be best working with wisdom and smarts!
Fun fact: wolves love open wounds. Stock up when you have the chance, pal
Useful wiki!

Looked through it and confused about something? Shoot me your question(s)!

Pupsitters! Want your pup to live? Getchu a pupsitter! What you want to keep in mind... If your pupsitter dies or runs away on RO, hope your pup(s) it was protecting had high protection, or expect more than one loss! Pupsitters run before the puppy survival rolls play, so just keep that in mind before assigning a very old (7yrs and 5 1/2 month) wolf to your babies.
Want to know what also rolls before puppy survival?
💞 Boost/penalties 💞
So if you had a 95% puppy and you done taken care of it fully, don't sweat that last 5% chance, as your pup will hit 100% before survival chance rolls for survival, death, or injury. But now if you had a 100% pup and neglected it, bringing it down to 85% this RO, cross your fingers!

*Other useful knowledge because I'm tired and darn this is so long already

~ Choose only your most important wolves as scouts! These will be the guys ending up with the most stats and fastest leveling, very good when training your next leader, breeding male if you choose to have one, or breeding for stats
~ Speaking of scouts, when it comes to the Rainforest and Glacier, your scout would need at least 101 stats in the biome's respective stats (strength, wisdom) to continue discovering then rescouting after discovery
~ Try to go for at least one hunting team with compatible personalities and wolves training in their highest stats. When leveling, your wolf's original highest stats gets the main focus when stat boost are distributed. Remember! Individual stats > total stats
~ Territory slots get FAIRLY expensive after 25 I believe, so every slot is precious!
~ try to set some goals for yourself! Play as you like, it is *your* experience, nobody else's
~ once your lead reaches level 10, you can encounter chased, identified by purple shooting stars! Exclusives start popping up after 15. The higher the level, the more likely a NBW is to have exclusive traits, each exclusive trait identified by a star!

Can't really remember anything else right now, but do remember there is plenty players around here willing to help wherever possible to help give *you* your best experience! Again, welcome to the community 💕!

Visual stuff !

This was extremelyyyy helpful! Thank you so much! If it's possible I'd like to ask about the lunar event tho? Just to know what I can prepare for if I wanna try and take part!

You are so very welcome! Of course, of course. You can look at this News post to help familiarize yourself and if you are interested, there's some lovely lore to read!

Quick summary of what is said in the post that is important to keep in mind:
*Lunar events occur every month every third Friday of that month and last a week (Friday through next Thursday)
*During anytime of the day besides night, your leader can collect Lunar essence! You get 25 on RO and can collect an additional 100 for a max of 125 per day. This is used to explore the Dreamlands when night arrives! Leftover essence carries over to the next day.
*During the night, majority of encounters and won battles would give you something called Lunar Tears! Or in other words, LT. This currency could be used to buy the Lunar event exclusives in the Lunar Shoppee, located in the Events page when the event is active. LT carries over through each day and event, so if you don't spend all of it for one month, it'll still be there for you the next and the next!
*Normal energy and HP is used for battles!

Other info:
*Every new event, a new set of apps are released including: the special base of a unique theme, claws, nose & skin relating to that theme, and a special eye colour! Although the base, skin, claws, and nose apps occur for two events total before getting retired (September's event would release a new theme!), the eye app only occurs once in a Lunar event before being retired
*the devs will release back ALL Lunar apps ever released in the Lunar event in a special event relating to the real life moon of their choosing.

My advice to you!
*Save your salves and lucky feet! In the Lunar event, every step should give you an LT, and battle opponents are no exception. Unless you lose! So I recommend saving up to around 100 uses total of healing salves, which are pretty common to find and easy to make (1 charcoal, 1 dandelion)
Lucky feet are nice to have, but they only increase your luck :D they don't gurantee shi! but do help sometimes!
*keep in mind the game's current season! In some seasons, the day/night cycle are longer or shorter. For example, in winter, nights are much longer at a hour and 30 minutes I'm pretty sure, and likewise in summer but the opposite. You can see when the time of day would next change in your Cooldowns page! Remember, you can gather essence in all time of the day EXCEPT night.

Unrelated to the event but battling takes up a big part if you want to get as much LT as you can, so here's some advice!

*try to conserve your energy! If you run out of energy during or don't have any going in, your attacks are going to be weaker. So what can you do? Try to make the opponent bleed! Once you've done that, now let's consider what your opponent is like.
-Are they prey? You can do one more bite and just rest/wait rest of the battle. You'll win! Fearless? Strong? You best try to get them at least 10 HP under you. If they are stronger than you, you may want to do a mix of attacking and waiting. I forget what the other modifiers are, but that works for most enemies! Bleeding is your best friend, unless *you* are bleeding. (:
*Not every rest will cure your bleeding! So if you lucky footed before going into a battle and STILL get insta bled by that bear, good luck! You're going to very likely lose. You can try to rest, but that fails often... Successfully rest? Oh no, your bleeding wasn't cured because RNG hates you... but you did recover energy. If your opponent isn't bleeding by now, there is no hope, just retreat. Losing is better than being shredded!
*Do stats matter? It may not seem like it, but yes, actually! Though not as much as luck. When coming into a battle, click the die beside the text! It will tell you what kind of modifier you have. Although stats do matter, RNG is the primary decider of whether you win or lose. So hope luck is on your side!
If your enemy is faster than you (has more speed), you'll lose first turn!
Snarling can intimidate the opponent, reducing their rolls by 1 if successful. Chasing does the same thing if you successfully tire them out!
Focusing if successful can raise your roll by 1!
And lunging can give you a good first hit on the opponent, and the stronger options of shear and crush will be opened to you for at least one turn.

There's alot more to get into about battling, but I like to try to not type too much. But let me know if you want to hear more! I'd be happy to go into further detail :D

My gosh thank you so much! If you have the time or wouldn't mind I'd love to hear more about the battling!
It truely is helping me a lot, I honestly didn't know much about the battling besides smash some attacks so this is extremely helpful!

By the way your way of explaining everything is perfect! It means a lot to have someone help me out with all this.
