Wolvden retirement home?

Wolvden retirement home?

Hi! I haven't gotten to this point myself in Wolvden gameplay, but my understanding is that wolves do eventually die of old age, and (maybe) can no longer participate in their roles when they get too old, but I'm not so clear on that part.

Would there be interest/a niche for a wolvden retirement home? Not as a site feature, but if someone dedicated their account to taking old wolves in and just, taking care of them until they die, to free up other peoples' space, would that be something people would be interested in?

Edit:I should clarify that these wolves wouldn't be used in any way for breeding, hunting, or really any role at all, in case anyone was worried this was just some kind of way to get free wolves for the benefit of the pack. Their only job would be to age in peace, being fed and healthy until they pass :)

I'm considering it if it's a possibility, and would love to know the community's thoughts. Thanks!

Just to clear it up, wolves can be active in their roles up until they die, they don't ever get too old for them.  Some players just 'retire' them from their roles a bit early to be able to slot in younger wolves into those roles. Old wolves removed from other roles to make way for younger wolves can make great pupsitters or mentors, though.

I wish there was more interest in this kind of thing! My hard cap (hopefully I won't ever have to buy more slots) is 36 adults in my pack, but if there was enough interest in a retirement home, I'd totally buy more slots just for the sake of taking in old people's wolves and caring for them until they die. Shame I can't put them in my dynasty though (it's full).

I have a cave dedicated to my older wolves who I have retired from their roles, because I don't need them to get more experience and/or I need jobs for younger ones. They're an important part of my pack and still work as mentors and pupsitters. They're very useful for training the next generation.
