Food and Entertainment Dropdown Takes Forever to Load

(This is for desktop mode, not sure about mobile)

I have a large hoard of food and toys (I've had a lot of toys for a while now). When I click the dropdown menu while caring for my individual wolves, the screen freezes and slows down drastically. If I move my mouse down to another option, it won't highlight the item that my mouse is on right away and everything freezes. I have around 20 wolves and I know I can't deal with this every time I have to care for them (I save the acorns for exploring events and they're usually the first item on the list, meaning I have to go to the second one).

Neopets was also having a similar issue which was solved immediately when I changed my adblocker from Adblock Plus to Ublocker Origin. I wasn't using an adblocker on Wolvden but I tried Ublocker just to see if it helped--it didn't.

I'm not sure if this means I have to get rid of some of my items. I really hope not because I've been casually playing since October and I don't want to keep on emptying my stuff every few months.

Hey, this might be better to submit to the Bugbox! I personally don't encounter this on mobile, but I feed/amuse from the hoard always, rarely ever individuality. Then again, I believe it's more of a thing that has to probably do with your browser.

Have you tried doing it from the hoard instead? That may help, as it doesn't list a bunch of items at once in one drop down.

Thanks for writing back! I probably could start using the hoard...usually it helps having a full list of all food with expiration dates and servings, but if it's easier the other way then I'll give it a try.

It might be my browser, idk. Once I'm more certain that it's not my computer I'll send in a report (but it would probably be better if I find some other people who have the same problem before I do that, because if not then it's probably just me with the problem).

I have this problem too with fishing and marking applicators! It still takes a long time for the weekly fish list to stop loading. It was even worse for the marking applicator, every time I opened it it crashed my WD pages but didn't affect other tabs. It stopped doing this after a few hours though so I'm not sure if it was fixed or just because of general site lag? I use Chrome, but pretty sure the issues weren't browser related.

I'm using Chrome as well, but yeah I guess it could be lag too, that's a good point. I haven't gone on the weekly fish list page or the marking applicator page so I wouldn't know about that part unfortunately. But it's good to know that someone else has this issue too. It does sound like the problem was fixed for you--I hope it stays that way!
