💸 How to earn money & items easily 💸

Getting some money and items can be quite the challenge. That's why i put a neat little guide together for you!

Note: feel free to comment!

🌸The quest snake 🐍

The Quest snake can give you a quest every day. You can earn about 130 (?) sc for each quest.
You'll also earn XP. Some quests will be easy, while others can take some time to complete.
Here's a guide on questing made by the Grouse House!
[Click]

Save your last 1 use of any carcass-
people might need it for their quest! You can charge more than the normal per use price for a rare quest item.
I'm looking at you, agouti carcass.

Pros: A pretty decent amount of SC and XP.

Cons: Some quests are really hard to complete.

🌸 Games 🎮

These games aren't just for fun! You can earn items and money too.

Fishing 🐟
Fishing is a really fun method to get sc AND food! Here's a tutorial on how to play:

As you can see, you can only submit a fish every 10 minutes. The bigger and rarer the fish, the more sc you'll earn. You can win up to 100 SC a day.
Also, if you manage to hit the leaderboard, you might earn even more sc!

Pros: Fun and easy

Cons: You'll need a bit of patience, and most fishes only give about 1-10 sc.

Slot machine  💰
Every hour, you can spin the Slot machine 5 times. However, it will cost you 10 sc per spin.
Here are the prizes you could win!

Pros: You have a chance to win very valuable prizes.

Cons: Low chance to actually win anything. I do not recommended using the slot machine alot, but it's up to you!

Development update about fishing and the slots: [Click]

Lottery 💰
Last but not least, we have the Lottery
You can buy a daily lottery ticket for 10 sc. Who knows if you'll win the grand prize of 500 sc! Or perhaps a 50 sc runner up prize?

Pros: The grand prize is alot of sc.

Cons: Very low chance to win

🌸The raccoon 🦝
The raccoon will give you sc in return for some items.
I would recommend selling your rotting food to him.
The raccoon pays 3SC for bite-sized food items, which is more than food usually would sell for on the TC (typically 2SC/use except in Winter)

Things to sell to Mr. Raccoon:

▪ Delicate Meat ( The fish meat from the fishing minigame)
 Dead Fish
 Weasel Carcass
 Stoat Carcass
 Small Meat Chunks
 Eggs 🥚🥚🥚

He also pays 10SC for any recipe. Always check the value on the TC first because some recipes might be rare,
but if there are a lot of that recipe for sale, just sell it to the racoon for 10SC. Just don't forget about his SC limit!
What about your other food? It actually sells really well on the TC, especially fresh large carcasses!
The trick is to put "food" in your title because that is what people will search for! Emoijs are nice too. You can sell single large prey, or bundles of 50 or 100.

''Crab Meat sells to the raccoon for 5SC for 3 Uses which is amazing! Really most 1use food items will sell for 3SC,
anything over isn't worth selling to the raccoon.''  -  Scouting for Booty #1810  (Ps. Your username is godly, thank you )

Pros: Has some nice items for sale too. Also, chonky baby,,,

Cons: The raccoon has a limited amount of sc every day. He also lowballs almost everything.

🌸Salvaging rotting food 🍖
You can click the 'salvage' button on rotting food to earn some bones. This doesn't apply to all food items, though. You can sell the remaining items to the raccoon!

Pros: Very easy way to get amusement items, especially if you have lots of rotting food.

Cons: Doesn't work on all food as mentioned before.

🌸Trades & advertising 🤜🏽🤛🏻
Trading is one of the best methods to get money. These are some things you could try to bulk sell:

 Healing salves
▪ Trophies (especially fox items, they can be used for the fox applicator.)
▪ Cure-for-alls
▪ Recipes
▪ Scars
▪ Den items ( Large leaves, rocks & branches. )

🌸Re-scouting 🧐
After you fully scout and unlock a new biome, you'll be able to re-scout it!
You might receive some items, like amusement or even recipes!

Pros: Your scout can receive some EXP, stats and proficiency.
Cons: You will be unable to explore in the biome when your scout is still busy.

🌸Exchanging herbs 🌿
Having trouble trying to find a specific herb? You can easily exchange them at the bottom of the Herbalist page.

Pros: No need to buy expensive herbs on the tc!
Cons: You'll need some other herbs to exchange

🌸 Explore 🐺
You probably knew this already, but there are some explore encounters where you can earn items and silver cones.
Here's a thread with all of the explore encounters made by the grouse house!
Pros: Not sure what to add here-
Cons: You need energy. ( ....That's pretty obvious, right? )

additionally, i made a list with all of the current energy boost items! ( Might be outdated soon )

Guarana

Will replenish your chosen wolf's energy to 100%.
Can be found in the Grove for 5 gc.

Bone Marrow

Will boost your chosen wolf's energy by 20%
Can only be used once per individual wolf per day!
Bought in the Raccoon wares for 80 sc.

🌸Battling 🩹
Food, sc, healing salves and trophies can be earned after winning a battle in explore. Keep in mind, Wolvden's battle system is
not easy and lucky feet won't let you win the battle i
mmediately.

Also, you can only get trophies if you're over lvl 10 and the enemy must be within a few levels lower.

A battling guide made by the grouse house Here

Pros:
Cons: Need lots of energy and HP. You can get illnesses if you lose.

🌸Additional tips
▪ Don't feed your lead wolf! You can easily keep their hunger at 70-100 with explore encounters.
▪ Always check the trading center to price check things.
▪ If your trade still won't get bought out after lots of bumping and advertizing, try lowering the price a bit!
▪ Try looking up ''Looking for'' in the trade center.
▪ Before buying an item from the tc, always check if someone else is selling the same for cheaper!
▪ If you need to buy a medicine from the tc, try searching for the cure-for-all first! Sometimes it is cheaper than the actual medicine you need.
▪ If you get a trophy from a battle, always check if it is valuable before using it as an amusement item! Some fox items can sell for 500-5000 sc!

-----
Edit:
Probably won't be updated anymore, some of the code is broken.
Here's a list of every single way to get money that i could come up with:

- Selling stuff on the trading center
- Making raffles or winning them
- Daily snake quests
- Winning on the slot machine
- Fishing
- Getting a fishing high score
- Winning the lottery
- Selling stuff to the raccoon wares
- Finding SC in explore
- Battling in explore
- Rescouting
- Hunting and selling the food
- Daily RO reward
- Buying with IRL money
- Enclave quests
- Giving pups to Lillemor ( Enclave bear )
- Selling custom decors

Also price check some of your small prey individually. Sometimes there are none being sold, so you can make a pretty penny selling it as a quest item! What's a quest item? Save your last 1 use of any carcass- people might need it for their quest! You can charge more than the normal per use price for a rare quest item. I'm looking at you, agouti carcass.

💗 Great guide, love all the decoration!

you can sell nesting material for 45-55 sc per on the trading center. aside from feathers, large leaves, butterfly wings, herbs, and some other items can be used. herbs are absolutely not recommended, they have a minimal value of 10 and maximum of 50 on tc (which also means the minimal value of herbs goes up to 16.5 because 3 of them make 1 rare herb). butterfly wings might become valuable later as a crafting item. no trophies should be used, they might become really valuable later as a crafting item

since it doesn't count uses, you can just play with all your feathers until 1 use remains and then turn them into nesting material. if you're like me and have too many feathers to use up, then the ones with 5 or more uses will give better returns from being sold to the raccoon with full uses than made into nesting material.
